I do find it odd that privilege was waived on this call. I guess they figure it was going to come out at some point so why not get ahead. Even more bizarre is Rudy G lying about its contents. Why lie?

This was nothing more than a discussion between a lawyer and his client advising on how to execute a payment arrangement and the best way to do that. This is less than nothing and also a payment was never made. So less than nothing. There was nothing illegal about that whole exchange, it's rather commonplace in corporate law

You do not know what you are talking about. There was nothing illegal in what was spoken about. There was nothing illegal in terms of talking about how to pay ( which apparently they did not). This was a normal conversation between a client and attorney given he type of client.
Personally I don't know why Trump would allow the release and Rudy would agree to it. Additionally I don't know why Cohen would tape his client. I remember the fight in the ABA when this was being discussed - taping of conversation of clients. A lot of old school attorneys bitched about it not being unethical.

Paying a whore to shut the hell up is his and the whore's business. Edwards had a third party come up with the funds. Thus the campaign contribution and he still got in no trouble. Trump was the intended payer here. His money and he can throw it up a wild hog's azz and yell sooie at him if he chooses. Plus he never paid! Embarrassed? Well yeah, he's denied hell out of this to his wife and children.
