Cool…
Did you quote all that directly from Hamas?
You understand that your plan includes the deaths of women and children? Do you want to do that? Do you want to have your children or grandchildren do it?
I don’t support militant Islamists at all. I also don’t support the murder of women and children. Whatever they may grow up to be.

Can you give examples?
I’ll genuinely watch with an open mind.

Coleman Hughs was the latest and Coleman is very dispassionate and soft spoken.

You’re good with allowing a murder cult to use their own women and children as shields from a foe who responds to their brazen acts of terroristic criminality?
You’re okay with being the gullible instrument of their terror strategy by being a message carrier of their propaganda? Propaganda in which they barely try to hide their ulterior and nefarious motives?
You are an accomplice to evil.

If you’re really interested in what goes on in Gaza you should listen to Mossad Hassan Yousef. He’s not a polished speaker but his father founded Hamas, he was part of Hamas then he defected. Like I said he’s not a polished speaker but he has a first hand account of the cultural indoctrination and how the place operates below the political level.

What a wild statement to make.
Where did I say I was good with any of those things?
I responded to a poster who said he wanted to drive all Gazans “to the sea.” That means death. Death of those same women and children you say you are appalled at being used as human shields. It’s ok when we kill them?

Correct. The Islamists and the Jews have been recruiting people to their sides with money for decades.

He's an excellent writer. "War on the West' was a great book.

As was “The Madness of Crowds.”

I was replying to your simplistic post, not his.
No I don’t agree with driving anyone into the sea.
However, I do get tired of uninformed or ideologically distorted commentary that repeats the “women and children” trope of the Gazans who celebrate the deaths of their own people if it furthers the cause of defeating and ultimately killing Jews, and later Christians.

I’ve been knowing about him since he was on legion of skanks. The guy is a fraud, he did ok debating low level loud mouths but as soon as he stepped up a weight class he started getting 1st round TKO’d because all of his “facts” were debunked. He basically traffics if hyperbolic propaganda and is now getting embarrassed every time he debates someone.
He absolutely destroyed Chris Cuomo inarguably. He did not have a great couple of points with Coleman Hughes, but that was a very friendly debate.
I’m not a Smith acolyte. I like him a lot of times but he suffers from Israel Derangement Syndrome.
I think he’s wrong on plenty but I don’t find him to be dishonest.
I will say that I can enjoy a lot of people for on the center right/paleocon when they debate. Dave Smith, Auron Macentire, Konstanin Kisin, Pool, Malice, Horton, etc.
The Israel/Gaza is the one thing where they can all be retards on either side of the issue.

Yikes. I was a HUGE fan of Douglas Murray for going on a decade. When I saw he was going to be on Joe Rogan with Dave Smith, it felt like Christmas morning. And then…
It was bad. Worse than bad.
Still, I just assumed he had a blind spot.
Now, he’s apparently been a speechwriter for the Israeli government for some time now. And didn’t disclose.
Damn you, JOOs!!!!!!!!

it really bugged the shite out of me when his big arguments were "you've never beaan?!!",
I feel like this was incredibly overblown and not very difficult to understand his pov given the amount of time he’s spent in Israel and the death and destruction he’s personally witnessed . It just got meme-ified and driven into the ground by Dave after the fact. And im a pretty big fan of both Smith and Murray
Just seems like a pretty cheap trick to pile onto the fact that Murray is an Oxford educated intellectual who can’t really help that he’d sound like a condescending prick simply reading an obituary lol

He hates Muslims. Above all, he hates the religion, the people, and anything to do with both. He wants them all out of Western nations, and if he thinks Israel will somehow help make that happen, he'll be friends with them.
Seems reasonable.

I have no problem with it. Besides, he's in the right side.
This is my position also. Religiously I am on neither side of the Jew/Moslem divide - but IF I were forced to make a choice of which to allow to survive it would definitely not be moslem.
Never thought of him as a 'journalist' - merely a very convincing debater on any subject matter brought forward.

Why? Murray witnessed in person what smith yaps about from his basement with zero first hand knowledge.

He basically challenged Smith’s credentials to speak about Gaza and Israel instead of debating him.
well now wait just a minute - IF he is releasing his personal observations and someone who has never been there in challenging him on the details he had witnessed, why would you expect him to not set the record straight.
I don't know this "Dave' guy - but I have enjoyed watching Murray dozens of times and have never felt he was condescending, offering puffery, or anything other than an eloquent spokesman for his opinion, and invariably armed with overpowering data and logic.

can you think of a more 'polite' way to 'debate' someone who has called your own logical observations into doubt???
Having 'been there' is a pretty significant factor in deciding who to believe.
