I can only imagine that you gave a straight up non answer that time as well. Or if not how about a little summary of your response then. What can you share with us on the subject of the authority a Governor has to either or both halt people from coming across the border, or deporting them if his state enforcement authorities catch them on our side of the border?

Doesn’t have to be long, just brief mention of the basis of his authority and what all he can do.

How do you see that playing out? You think the Gov of Texas can persuade the President of Mexico to act? The President needs to do his job or move out of the way and let another Democrat run. Trump would have this fixed quickly.

You know Abbott is winning just based on the SVD melt.

Why would I summarize or rehash the arguments we’ve already had if it’s obviously a waste of time? Your mind is made up. Bussing illegal immigrants all over the country is a winning strategy. Got it

Guy4lsu has questioned your accuracy on the same thing, so maybe you can technically say it’s directed at him instead of me.

I somewhat agree with you for once. And if Abbott is destroying liberal cities as is the claim how is that possibly a good thing? They're still American cities. There is a weird obsession with suffering and misery here.

Gawd your TDS is just amazing. As if this admin wouldn't be letting these people in even if every inch of the border had a wall on it.

And according to Trump's Border Patrol Head, Homan, they had a goal of 400 miles in the first term and hit 450-500 miles. And he said he would take the job again if Trump got back in and asked.

The local Fox channel in KC was doing a report on the out of control number of illegals pouring across the southern border, the news hack was saying TX governor Abbott was exacerbating the crisis by shipping illegals to NYC and Chicago.

Last I checked its illegal to come into the country undocumented. Meaning it's against our laws. If I break the law, I don't get a bus ride into New York, Chicago, or any other city unless it's a prison bus.

They shouldn't be in this country at all. Send them back, not farther into the country. It's cute though.

And again, therein lies the problem. There is no such thing as state immigration laws. It’s a 100% federal deal. Yes once they’ve already crossed over then the State of Texas could arrest and prosecute for any violation of state laws, but the penalty is served in a Texas jail or prison. As for what a state law enforcement officer can do if he “simply” catches and detains an illegal immigrant…..to kick off the process of “sending them back” all the state boys can do is turn them over to border agents. And we’re back to square one…..Biden’s border policy (or lack thereof).

It should blow my mind how hard it is for some on this board to understand this very simple concept.....but it doesn't.

But at least I get to watch the entire board drag STD for being the democrat we all knew he is.
