You busted my chops every time I expressed concern that the Dems were once again going to attempt an exercise in ballot stuffing to push Kamala across the finish line.

Yeah and I gloated about it a little the day after but it’s over now and I’ve moved on. I just mostly was frustrated with people not understanding what the mechanisms of the 2020 steal were and not understanding the data for what this one was telling everyone who was paying attention

HHTM caught hell earlier this summer for declaring he finally was boarding the Trump train yet I believe he was genuine. What genuine person wasn’t moved by Trump’s determination after the assassination attempt?

Trump surviving the assassination attempt was probably the biggest moment in the campaign. Getting up like he did was nuts for a 70+ year old.

For what reason, specifically? So you will feel better about yourself?

I mean, if that's what it takes, shame away. Most of us are big boys and can handle it.

Seems like the ones who cannot handle it are the hardcore Trumpies who simply can't fathom that someone might not feel like Trump was the best choice in the beginning and that someone like DeSantis might do better. They are the true butthurt ones.

You’re one of the dumbest idiots on this board. You’re dumber than jjdoc. Tarzana would give you a run for your money.

You need to speak less and think more.

I'd have been fine with either candidate.

I think this attitude was the overwhelming opinion of most posters here. Yet when I created the following tongue-in-cheek post, I was actually surprised that the reactions were so evenly split between the two candidates:

Arguably the best most conservative governor in the country ran in a primary for president. Faulting him for that it dumb. His supporters aren’t stupid either. It’s ok to support other people in a primary. The rabid Trump supporters are every bit as obnoxious and idiotic as the rabid progressives. You know better and you should be better.

We can all agree DeSantis got over his skis a bit and obviously lacked the ability to unseat Trump but without Trump DeSantis would’ve been an easy guy to support. He never should have thrown his hat in the ring against Trump. That was always a losing proposition. But he is absolutely a bright spot and strong future candidate for the Republicans.

His problem is he tried to run a conventional campaign. Trump is an unconventional anomaly in American politics. Choosing to go head to head with him was a bad idea and Trump crushed him. That’s what Trump does. Hes a steam roller. Tearing ourselves apart in 2028 over childish grudges is not a good proposition.

My hope for Trump’s legacy is an end to the fake polished campaign theater. Trump won because he acted like a normal person and ran his entire campaign as a genuine normal human.

There’s no reason to become some sort of canned carbon copy douche as soon as you run for office.

Clearly, you're a Harris supporter, you cuck!! <-- what cult members say.

Winning the election is great! Thankfully went the right way. But, the differentiator is governing. DeSantis has a much better record actually implementing an agenda. Trump... not so much. But, let's be honest Cult45 craves the reality show experience over accomplishment.

Hopefully Trump hires better this time. It's always struck me as weird that DDS sufferers said Trump was too establishment, but, that's all Trump hired last go round.

Meh. For months several posters called Trump fans idiots and guaranteed Trump had zero chance in the general. They deserve a little bit of crow. It’s all in good fun.

Except for Roger. He is a legit moron.
