I generally like Trump, but I didn't believe him when he ran again on the mass deportation platform. He didn't do enough of it his first term, so no reason to think he would this time. But they really are going after illegals. The best part is that, between the election and inauguration, there were reports that he would ONLY go after violent illegals, and generally leave the others alone. I believed it at the time, but so far, all indications are that they're deporting anyone they catch, regardless of whether they're cartel members or dreamers.
On top of that, border crossings appear to be massively decreasing. I can't find the article to verify, but I saw that crossings from Columbia into Panama (99% of them are heading to the US) are dropping drastically. Trump's first week in office, those numbers were down something like 90% from the same week a year ago.
They will increase but by the end of Trump's term, it'll be a fraction of what this board has convinced itself it will be. By the time Trump leaves office, there's gonna be an awful lot of hurt MAGA feelings over this shite.
You were smart not to. Me neither.
A controlled border is really all we can hope for. Not only are mass deportations not on the table, they never were on the table.

It is urgent to deport as many illegals as possible, as soon as possible. It's important to address the violent, dangerous and problematic ones.

I saw a report that said illegals cost 150 billion in 2023. Assuming 120 Billion in 2022, 100 Billion in 2021 and 155 Billion in 2024 we have spent 525 Billion on illegals since the dems said we didn't have 8 billion to build the wall. That wall would have saved the tax payers 517 Billion. With 100 million tax paying families, that would be 5170 for each family.
Maybe it's not the "bulk" but it is a good chunk.

and FTR i agree. we still need to ramp it up and put pedal to the metal. it may take 8 years to get bidens 11 million out. so we will need vance to win next election. biden really fricked the country over. we may not even get all 11 million out. who knows. get as many as possible.
we have no way though of knowing who is self deporting. Those stats are just forced deportations. let's hope double that amount is self deporting. or more.

I don't have any of that. I voted for the guy and like I said, I like this show he's putting on. I like seeing it, but does this board really believe we're going to see mass deportations or mass "self" deportations in all this?
Oh, and does anyone really know how we're defining "mass deportation"? Is there a number attached to this phrase, or will we just know it when we see it?
