The democrats had a worse loss just two years ago

They lost the popular vote, electoral college, and every swing state. The GOP had every branch of government. The man they despised the most, tried to bankrupt, kill, and jail, was re-elected.
The day after their loss, the Dems went to the drawing board and began to work. They planned this.
Yes, they will have the senate for the next 6 years, but it won’t be the end of the world.
Clinton and Obama had similar (probably worse) midterm losses. Their approval ratings were the same as Trump when they happened. Both presidents finished their careers with a 60 approval rating.
Many things can change in two years. This shall pass.

I believe you but the problem here is the Republicans inability to coalesce around a platform and then all support it come hell or high water.

Which means even if Rubio were to win, nothing will get done.
I'm telling you, Thomas and Alito have to step down right now so the Repubs can replace them by the end of December.

Cornyn, Murk, and Cassidy won't vote to confirm. Also have to worry about institutionalists who won't go along with the process.
They needed to step down 18 months ago.

That all sounds good, but this time the GOP suffered irreversible losses. The damage that will be done to retirement accounts, savings and the middle class can never be recovered.

unlike the republicans the dems will get in lock and step and will vote 100% with each other
republicans did a great job of dividing their power to do nothing and block maga’s bills every step of the way

Meh... I appreciate the positive attitude, but....
If the Marxist do everything they have publicly said they would do, they will the system rigged to the point of no return.
-Increasing the number of SCOTUS justices
-making illegals citizens
-DC and Puerto Rico statehood
-allowing anyone to vote
-unchecked immigration
The list is long

This is what makes the election different than the past. It’s not business as usual.

Having a Republican executive can help with much of this. They still don’t have a veto proof majority to achieve new statehood, the President appoints the judicial nominees to be confirmed, and the immigration issue will be seen.

No way it was a worse loss 2 years ago.
A literal retard was less than 300,000 votes away from being elected President.
We just lost everything in Texas, saw Democrats win statewide elections in South Carolina, Mississippi, Kansas, Ohio, and Alaska. A Muslim Brotherhood fan won statewide in Michigan, just because the Republican name is ridiculously toxic today.
Just looking at the makeup of Congress can tell you the arse-beating of 2026 was on another level compared to 2024. Then, look at the make-up of Governors and you realize it can actually go to another level.

This. All they could do is squabble and posture. They got mired down and this is what we have to show for it.
