Although since your ideological comrades in those countries got their wishes and opened the borders to the third world, those places have experienced massive violence too. Please understand, I’m not arguing against the overall idea of your post: the idea that the younger generation doesn’t understand communism.
What I am arguing against is the idea that someone going out into public with a camera and microphone, presenting questions to random people (even within a specific demographic) about politics and political theory in general (or just about any topic in general), and subsequently slicing up, editing the video to include only the worst responses, effectively proves the point or is representative of a larger group.
I don’t think it necessarily does.
Let’s ask the same question to a different group.

I think the OP has made an accurate statement about a serious issue facing the constitutional republic. Currently there are way too many Americans who have accepted the DSA's way forward and I think most know how it ends when a nation embraces socialism/communism/Marxism.

I've feared this point for most of my life - began my mental prognostigations when LBJ destroyed the black family's chance to join the rest of Americans with wholesome family units by promising them if they just sit on their asses 'we the gumment will make you rich and punish the white man' It's been all downhill since then.
I feel that if we suffer democrat control of both sides of congress in this election, our 250 years of social advancement and economic progress will turn on a dime and our destruction as a free people will begin.
Until recently - especially after Trump's last POTUS win, that we had a great chance of righting the ship and getting rid of the worst of the democrat bad guys.
It has been a great disappointment to see the masses of people blaming trump for all the evils caused by the damned democrats.

The crazy part is that most Democrats cannot understand that the Democrat Party purposely destroyed the Black nuclear family for their own devices, to get as many as possible on welfare and to secure a voting bloc that would never cease.
