Internet history lesson.
CBS bought all the old Scout sites which is where I first remember Toomer's Corner being at, on Auburn's old Scout site. CBS then melded and rebranded them with their 24/7 sites that they already owned. If a certain university already had a 24/7 site the Scout posts got blended into them. If the university did not have a 24/7 site the old Scout site became one.

There's always bigger fish, and it's hard to say no to that much money. Chicken should set up a "don't sell the site" donations page

CBS is deep dark blue bastion of left liberals. The Auburn Toomers political board was about 20 to 1 conservative. I'm surprised it lasted under CBS ownership as long as it did.
