Very well could be the most ironic post of this entire event.

Pretty sure that was the wife/widow, not the decedent.

4. Is there actually anyone out there so dumb as to contend that she INTENDED to hit the agent?

Well, call me dumb …. but it seems to me that she probably intend to bump him, but likely not to injure him.

The problem was the situation, which as you know makes a big difference.

- She knowingly used her vehicle as a weapon when she hit the officer, who was clearly identified.
- She hit him in the commission of felony obstruction and interference in a federal operation.
- She was in the process of being arrested. “Turn off the engine and get out of the vehicle”

It is reasonable for the average person, and certainly for an officer trained in field apprehension, …. to assume she was attempting to evade arrest and eliminate the threat from the officer in front of her.

It’s a shame it happened…. this poor girl was trained to perform and behave as she did…. and she was led far astray from her rights under the first amendment.

There is a correct path to change US laws …. but violence and violent rhetoric isn’t the way to change the law. Just because Congress doesn’t want to go through the laborious, time-consuming chore of writing Immigration Reform, doesn’t mean you get to short cut the process.

Until then, support and enforce the laws of the United States.

I wish he hadn’t shot her. It was a completely justified shoot from a legal perspective. What else is there to discuss?

TX does not believe the wife said that. Despite the audio proof.
If you have to lie, it's probably a good indication you are on the wrong side of the issue.

A straight up lie.

You strike me as a compulsive liar. You're really good at it.

If you can't answer the questions, just say you can't answer the questions. It doesn't make you look that bad.

I'm not afraid.

I wish this woman would not have been shot.

It was a fully justifiable shooting.

All of the things you want to discuss are irrelevant or can't be fully answered because they would require the dead woman to not be dead.

thanks for the discussion. Carry on discussing with whoever you choose.

Shoot the tires is almost as good as Roger and his 15% unrealized loss was forever.

I was asking for an opinion. You clearly would rather evade. It's O.K. I know why you refuse to offer yours.

Opinion you say?

Unfortunately she listened to stupid people.

She impeded lawful actions by ICE.

Her actions directly contributed to her death

Her wife's actions also contributed.

Play stupid fricking games you typically win stupid prizes

I agree. But when they apply to citizens and not law enforcement, there's a problem.

They - the deceased and her wife were banking on the fact that they could act any way they wanted without repercussions. That they could yell, scream profanities, taunt officers, block roadways, and no repercussions. That they could resist and refuse to comply with orders from officers and even evade them by driving away from the scene, with no repercussions.

The wife instructed the deceased, just drive baby, drive - and she did so and hit an officer. They never thought the officers were serious or were carrying loaded guns. Wife was in shock when she realized the repercussions were live bullets that killed her loved one. She's even heard yelling, "it's all my fault."

Opinion you say?
Yes, of these simple questions. I'll post them again.

quote:

I have a couple of questions

1. If her intention was to run over him, why didn't she do it when he TWICE walked directly in front of the vehicle with no chance to escape? Why would she have waited to run him down?

2. Why did she initially BACK UP before trying to drive away? Could it be that she was intentionally trying to AVOID hitting him? What other reason do you think there could be for her backing up before driving away?

3. What do you think that she thought she would accomplish by running over that ICE officer?

well, duh, because it doesn't fit the narrative they want to create.

I don’t have a narrative. I’m just pointing out what will likely be brought up in legal proceedings. They will make the case that she was not trying to kill anyone thus there was no threat that warranted the use of deadly force.

I don’t have a dog in the hunt and fwiw, i think these people are a menace. Further- i think she and her wife were antagonists who thought they could push LEO buttons with no accountability. I think they believed the worst that would happen is an arrest which they’d video and get some viral outrage….
Didn’t work out that way. They took a stupid risk and someone got killed.

My own opinion is that it’s best to follow LEO orders. They didn’t and now one of them is dead.

My personal viewpoint aside- i think there will be a civil lawsuit against LEO either under the Biden’s statute or other and the survivors are going to get some money. Sad but I have little faith in the legal system in most places.

She is dead so her intentions will never be known

Except that video she is looking forward.

Tires spin.

Logical people would assume she was in fact trying to run him over

Backing up?

Who the frick knows you are dealing with an idiot.

I don't think this fricking idiot thought out the potential pitfalls of following the directions of her equally stupid wife

Are you really going to make me go through. Your posts to prove you said “why would the wife say that if she was trying to get in the car?”

Tell me the context that changes you saying “why would she say that if she was trying to get in the car?”

This one I have bookmarked because you tried to deny it the other day.
