And try to understand “intent”

Both are not intended to be deadly weapons

Stop being obtuse if you can help it

Again, what exactly do you think her "intent" has to do with this situation?

All that matters is whether he reasonably feared for his life or great bodily injury.

The same people who have never been punched in the face are saying that he was barely hit by the car.

Same people who know everything about firearms but never owned one.

Agreed.

So why have we wasted so many pixels whining about what a horrible person she was?

It can certainly be argued that she intended to drive away without an intent to kill anyone.

Without her testimony or any verbal indications prior to the shooting, we can’t tell.

The question is whether his force was measured adequately to her force. If she was intending to kill him then he can justify the shooting

I just think the video makes that a tough case to make and any good lawyer can make the case

the few people arguing against you either don't understand this word or have an agenda that makes this word inconvenient so they pretend it's not part of your sentence

You know how we know she was in a front wheel drive vehicle? Because her front wheels were spinning as she accelerated.

You keep using the word "intent" as it pertains to the woman shot. That has absolutely 0 bearing on this situation.

The only thing that matters is whether the shooter reasonably feared for his life or great bodily harm.

I saw you say everyone else is being obtuse. You harping on the dead woman's "intent" is the definition of being obtuse

Intent is irrelevant

Some people use the design of vehicles to kill with them. Getting run over or T Boned is deadly.

FFS, dude, you specifically said that you could use hindsight under Minnesota law.

Dude...ffs right under my post was the actual statute that I found and posted - can you not read?

Been a very hard time for you in this thread / your hypotheticals are crap , the videos prove you wrong and the actual laws are against you

But you just keep plugging - must be a great feeling to have 99percent of a board think you are less than intelligent and psychologically damaged
