I was gonna say trying to kill Trump twice, but that's a good one too.

The reasoning behind all of this is that if Russia successfully steamrolled Ukraine, they would keep going and invade some other country that would require that we send American troops to defend.

That’s a big if upon which we are taking the initiative of entering a war against Russia on behalf of a country with which we have no treaty obligations.

No one's talking about morality. We're talking about putting our country in harm's way over an inter-slavic squabble that has nothing to do with us.

-another Covid type release

-pull levers in Ukraine to provoke Russia further and escalate to WWIII

-another 9/11 type of attack that will be enabled, and I think it will be in the style of Oct 7th attacks in Israel

-assassination success on Trump and or multiple parts of this cabinet

-another Jan 6 type of hoax on a larger scale

-cyberattack on America coincided with China invasion of Taiwan

I think it is a certainly that at least 1, but likely multiple of the above happen to derail this administration from it's MAGA agenda.

There are too many enemies with power and too many trillions at stake to lose if America is not involved in wars and the new DOJ is grinding an axe to go after these motherfrickers that have all the power and sway currently.

Can someone explain to me the moral difference between Russia bombing/shooting Ukrainians on Ukrainian soil and Ukrainians bombing/shooting Russians on Russian soil?

Imagine you have a beautiful wife and a man who lives next door wants to kidnap and rape her repeatedly. This man has no vehicle and is impotent. However, after telling another man who lives across the lake from from both of you of his plans for your wife, this fella provides him the vehicle and a months supply of Viagra that enables the man to do what he wants.

How would you feel?

Iran called bullshite on that.

Our own corrupt media and government were pushing that narrative.

So I have to choose which is playing it straight. Sadly it's probably the Iranians.

Russia is not rolling into NATO countries. This is nothing but fear-mongering. It's such an absurd idea that no one who believes this can be taken seriously.

Abroad and on our own shores.

The usual suspects in the cheap seats around here who see the relative quiet of the last nearly two weeks are incredibly naive in believing that we'll get to Jan. 20 without it getting crazy. They are either as misinformed as they appear, or just straight-up willfully ignorant.

Both are dangerous.

I agree.

The LEFT (and whoever their overlords are) agitated like crazy during Trump's first term, stole 2020, and entrenched themselves at all levels of government.

It would be out of character for the LEFT to hand to Team Trump the reins of power and go home, living their lives in peace under the flag and Constitution that they did their utmost to rip to shreds.

I don't want chaos nor wars on our shores or foreign shores. But I wouldn't be surprised if the batshit crazy LEFT instigates something.

I agree. They're being unsettlingly reasonable about Trump's latest win. That they're eerily silent while he won by an even larger EC margin than 2016 AND the popular vote tells me that they have something planned.

I wish they didn't, but I'm also decent at spotting patterns. This current illusion of acceptance from the Uniparty is highly uncharacteristic of them.

If you see the sort of frustration/panic setting in on the rank & file liberal filth on places like Democratic Underground, BlueSky, etc, you can see that they're becoming increasingly unhinged about the matter. The corporate media is doing their part by carrying the narrative water about how Trump's cabinet picks aren't qualified, and keeping up everything short of returning to the Literally Hitler rhetoric of a month ago. They're allowing their base to reach a boiling point.

Something is up.

You can argue the righteousness of our cause vs Russia’s cause, but our taking the step of killing Russian civilians on Russian soil is an escalation that may provoke a response. What is so important about Ukraine that we should risk American lives to protect it?

MAY provoke a response?????
Unless Trump can somehow get with Putin secretly, it probably will provoke a response!

That just doesn't seem shocking to me in the context of a war.

Especially a war that Russia started and that has already produced a conservative estimate of over 39,000 civilian Ukrainian casualties (according to OHCHR).

Wrong

A war that we started

Now add up the total number of deaths on both sides
Civilian and military

Then add up the billions of dollars WE have spent on murdering all of those people

Thanking you in advance

Very quietly, they're trying to steal this. They know they can't steal the general election but they're working hard on the popular vote.

Only Russia is dumb enough to intentionally waste missiles on civilian apartment buildings and such.

Agreed. They feel they got away with those MI, WI & AZ Senate seats, and are quietly coming for McCormick's in PA.

They couldn't even they wanted to. They can't get close enough w/o our helping, significantly.
