Mr. Floyd wasn’t given many choices. Black people are a minority in this country that have faced a history of oppression, violence, and bigotry. We haven’t overcome the legacy of those problems. The prejudice and bias are demonstrably still here.

Also, your data reveals something many people tend to overlook. Women regardless of the severity of their crimes get lesser sentences. So the bias works both ways.
Many people on here will still deny your evidence, but the facts are very clear. At worst, the system is racist and at best it's completely corrupt and negligent of the public at large.

The decline and fall of America is tied to our debt not a handful of people online and protesting.
Put it this way, if you weren't on social media or watching the news how would these protests affect you? The only impact to my life would have been a couple days ago there was a peaceful protest where I live and at work they told us to leave early before is started.

It's takes all of those into account. Anyone that's not a white straight male Christian gets preferential treatment when it comes to affirmative action. The statistics show that blacks get larger sentences than whites even when two people have the same criminal history. Whether there are black judges depends on where you go. You illustrate one of the problems with all is this. Black individuals are too often judged based on stereotypes about black people.
Your last sentence illustrates the problem perfectly. A black individual can’t stop the perception that black people act like wild animals. That kind of prejudice has been around for centuries. There is always some sort of justification for it. That kind of judgment is wrong and has to stop.

That is why I encourage people to look at the evidence. There is plenty out there to show that prejudice on the basis of race is a significant factor in this country.

Affirmative action didn’t come about out of the idea that white people are inferior or to tried to hold them down. It was something enacted to deal with the systemic issues of prejudice and the legacy of discrimination. It is something also generally passed by the majority to help a minority group. There are significant distinctions.
Either way, that doesn’t answer the massive discrimination and prejudice that exists against people of color in this country. The majority and minority relationship matters.

What do you mean by "anyone"? Yes, many individual people use the notion of Collective Guilt, but, these are people who have immature or diseased notions of Justice and Punishment.
Are you talking about Countries that use the notion of Collective Guilt when they impose Justice and Punishment? COUNTRIES that have done this are some of the most diseased, oppressive and evil countries we've ever seen. These kinds of countries tend to be totalitarian regimes: Bolshevik Russia; Nazi Germany, Red China, North Korea, etc.
Those who suspect that the USA itself is trending towards using the notion of Collective Guilt or Blood Guilt are the ones who most fear that we are witnessing the Decline of the USA.
