First they will vote on the current bill. It will fail. That way they can run to a microphone and say "I voted against the bill!" Then in the dark of night on Christmas eve, they will pass the bill. After making "making significant cuts!" which amount to a couple of million dollars in the trillion dollar bill.
The first step is done. Trump calling for trading debt ceiling for not cutting spending. All that’s left is voting for thr “fixed” bill. The swamp is nothing but predictable.

This will be advertised as the GOP shutdown…

It’s just poor form. Why did Johnson publicly support it? Are we this disjointed?

Both sides blame each other. Public pressure will make one side cave.

Tale as old as time.

It’s tough when you’re competing against a death cult

Who cares?

We just bitch slapped the left and have DOGE.

Ignore the left and cut spending. Who gives a single frick about anyone on the left?

This is why Trump should be cautious with implementing DOGE cuts.

People are gonna see the big contributors to the debt get no cuts, corporate tax rates slashed while people's favorite pet programs get slashed and relatives laid off from the government . while Musk doubles his $400 billion net worth
