re: The COVID ordeal is conditioning for the coming antichrist

There have been major plagues in the distant past that wiped out between 50 and 200 million people and a good percentage of the population in Europe.
There were fake cures and vaccines that worked in the past. With this came much more talk of end of times due to the devastation.
I don't see this being much different other than we have more technology.
In relation to the USA's problems, there have been countries that turned to communism that are now free market and doing well.

Yes, the false prophets are those who claim to have knowledge that the Bible does not endorse, and they have been around since the time Jesus walked the Earth among men. This is clearly stated in the Scriptures.
The Bible also clearly states that no man can know the day nor the hour when Christ will return, not even Him.
He awaits the command, and anyone who says they can tell you when this time is, is a false prophet.
Do not be deceived, but always be prepared, and don't let men and their lies discourage you from seeking the truth.
It's not our place to see the end coming, we should live each day as though it could be the last.

Sure, with millions of people dying in the process.
Plus, people keep glossing over one of the biggest Bible prophecy fulfillment’s that wasn’t in place years ago, and that is the establishment of Israel again as a country. And that didn’t happen until 1946

What communistic countries are habitable?

I know it’s been said often, and this is no big revelation, but it’s been on my heart lately and I just wanted to share.
The Bible predicted more than 2000 years ago that a generation would come, and out of it would rise a person, an antichrist who would exalt himself about God, solve the worlds problems, and bring a temporary peace to the planet. But, he will exact a huge price for this momentary peace and global prosperity, he will demand total obedience and worship of him, and his mark on the right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell.
Now I can’t be certain the coming COVID vacations plays a part in all of this, but I feel, like many that it will be used to condition people for the coming mark, if it isn’t the mark itself.
And if the COVID pandemic isn’t enough to extract total capitulation from the masses, a greater virus will be released until the world will be begging for relief.
Skeptics will say that the predictions of the Bible are vague or perhaps coincidence, but to those who believe in its truths, its validation that their belief in Jehovah God is real and he’s coming back soon.
If you haven’t prepared your heart for his return yet, please do so before it’s too late.
God is multi-tasking: He has removed His hand of blessing and protection from this nation. He is judging this nation by taking away a lot of our freedoms and idols. This pandenmic is absolutely setting the stage for a New World Order and the rise of the antichrist. You can't have a New World Order while the US remains the world's superpower. But none of this occurred without warning. God is just, but He always warns first. He did. We didn't listen.

Amen TNT. You nailed it here. America was offered many chances to repent and stiffened up its neck instead. Now we will sow what we reaped.

We’ve certainly reached a point in America’s history where the blessings of the Creator are no longer deserved. It will take a monumental spiritual awakening to fend off the coming wrath of the Lord. We’ve squandered our good graces. The further America had fallen away from a relationship with God the further society has degraded into debauchery and lawlessness.

Dude. What.
I’m a bible believing Christian but this out of scope.

God has blessed this country like no other and just as you said perfectly, we
squandered it away.
We replaced sound expository preaching with 3 point topical sermons, fancy music and entertainment. Gone are the sermons
on God’s holiness, our wretchedness,
sin, and Hell. And because most average Christians know very little about God’s actual word, it was easy for the enemy to slip in false doctrine.
To the point where even Christians doubt the authenticity of God’s word and don’t believe many of the things written in it.
There is a verse of scripture in the Old Testament that always troubles me, and it’s about crossing the line where you lose God’s favor.
And it’s about Esau and how he sold his birthright for a bowl of stew. It later says, even though Esau repented with tears, what was done, couldn’t be undone. And the same can be true with America.

The “mark of the beast” is metaphorical in the sense it will be ideological more than anything- think how you have to “admit” black lives matter or you get fired and your life ruined etc.
You’ll likely have to make some spiritual concession in order to be allowed into society and be ostracized if you refuse.
I agree with this but I think there will be some physical manifestation. Symbolism. God cast Cain out with a physical mark and sign to others he was cursed. I think there will be something that cannot be concealed, but it will be an outgrowth of compliance to some philosophy/system.

How is it out of scope?
You train a society to follow every government edict. You train them to keep their businesses closed, even if it bankrupts them, while you allow liquor stores to stay open.
You train them to believe that churches are non essential, but pot shops are essential.
You train people to wear masks and tell them it’s selfish and dangerous not to wear them, then you condone and encourage thousands of rioters to flood the streets, many without mask and zero social distancing, and you applaud it.
You train the citizens to hate police and convince them they’d be safer without them, yet demonize those trying to protect their property with guns.
No, it’s all part of the conditioning process to make citizens frightened and eager to accept anything the government deems necessary. And if they say chips or marks are necessary, we’ll just go along with that too.

I believe the mark will be a physical mark that can been seen on the skin and there is another passage of scripture that speaks of a visible seal, but this time, it’s the seal of God.
Revelation 9:3
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man

I was reading the OT Genesis today. The story of Joseph is one of the most heart wrenching books of the OT with the exception of Job. His bothers sell him into bondage and Joseph becomes the 2nd most powerful man in Egypt. Joseph is blessed with God’s promise of prosperity for being faithful to God and for also being merciful to his brothers. These sons of Jacob/Israel in turn become the 12 tribes of the OT......it’s frankly amazing.

The part in the story of Joseph that always gets me, is that when Joseph finally reveals himself to his brothers and can justifiably give them retribution, yet he chooses mercy instead and says,” you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good.”
Joseph was faithful enough to know that God sometimes puts us in trying times that workout for our good and his glory.

Woah man you just blew my mind. I’ve never contemplated that my entire belief system could be simply mythology. I now have to rethink my entire life.

In any other context except religion, actually believing in what you wrote would qualify a person for psychosis. One day in the distant future, religious nonsense like a second coming won't get a free pass.

People have been saying this every year for 2000 years. We are actually in some of the most peaceful times over that entire time period.
By the way, when it does happen there will be no pre rapture. The bible clearly says that. Everyone will live through the tribulation. So I'd be careful what you wish for.
