Really? We as a society are growing more secular by the day, and you are telling me that the majority of people wouldn’t accept a mark when they won’t be able to buy, trade or work if they don’t?

I don’t disagree that we are getting to a point where that could be plausible, but I think we are still decades away from most of the world being willing to do this. I suppose it could be dependent on just how bad things get and how desperate people are.

No. He does not claim to prophesy.
He points to current events, draws correlations to Scripture, and gives his thoughts on what is literally going on in the world around us.
However, he does not say "Follow Me", he says "make sure you have gotten yourself right with God through Jesus Christ, the only true path to God."
Big, big difference.

When The US faces a little diversity, all of a sudden it’s the “end of times”. There’s always been hard times. I recall in the 80s the Cold War and that could be the beginning of the end, but as of now that’s went away.
I think we are many years away from the true Demise. However I do believe religion is going away quick in this country. And you can see it happening every day.
I was once asked: Would you rather have the end come. With many you know dying and all of the terrible things you’d see?
Or, Continue as is with some diversity, but hit the LSU games, hobbies, thinks that make your life fun?
It’s a hard one for me to answer. And that may be the “Slave to the system / take tour number” that it seems to place in my own weird theory.
I also think for the most part it’s what you make of your life. You can avoid some of this mess if you really wanted to, kinda like “the road untaken”

Jesus himself says we should always be ready, looking for signs, and not caught by surprise. Don’t be foolish.
Matthew 24:42

Even Jesus’ own disciples wanted to know about the end times
Matthew 24:3 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

A good portion of why America is in decline is because we’ve departed from the faith. One of the greatest signs of the end times is a great falling away from the faith.
