I agree ??. Just for kicks I've been going from conservative forums to democratic forums and there is zero middle ground. You are either far to the left or far to the right. We are a split society and it's not ever going back so time to divorce and move on

I believe the “far right” is made up by the MSM. Most of what is considered “Far right” is just traditional conservative American values that gets confused with right-wing “extremism”

Conservatism is just progressivism driving the speed limit.

Our traditional conservative values are now considered far right extreme. Just in my family and group of friends discussing politics has become a huge fight. Liberals refuse to listen to facts and I think conservatives have had enough bending over and are ready to start holding their ground. There is no middle ground anymore.

This is true. Problem is, more of them in power than us.

This is totally false. More people are moving into urban areas. They automatically become indoctrinated.

Also, the suburbs are moving to blue. This is as the country is as a whole.

Rural will always be red. They do real work for a living. Their values are more in line with the truth but their numbers are dwindling.

I rejoined Twitter when Elon made the offer and I've generally stayed in my lane. But occasionally I've wandered off into Crazyville and yeah...anyone that thinks this is going to work out where we "agree to disagree" on anything is blindly naïve.

Not to mention, I'm tired of fighting with them. I'm ready to move on and try it our way, and they can frick right off and try it theirs. No one wins with the current situation.

Now, I'm ok with a great divorce. But, you know it's not going to happen. They are content to let us die out over the next 25-50 years.

The younger generation in high school and college now will really F this country hard for the next 50 years. It is more radical than anything ever seen in this country.

Have more kids, and teach them right. Maybe we can fight back.

"Old Conservatives" are just fighting Woke Leftist Ideologues to conserve our best American traditions, principles, ideals and Institutions. You know, equal protection under the law, freedom of speech, Constitutional government,-all the things that make us great.

What would you like to replace Free Speech with? What would you prefer over equal protection under the law?

It is sort of true, modern republicans tolerate things that 80s republicans would find abhorrent.

More classically liberal would be fine. That’s not what is happening here.

There are legit socialist CRT adherents in congress.

Think about that.

That sure has been the way for the last century, but I believe we are either:

1. About to see some incredibly wild stuff over the next 10-20 years to finally push it back

or

2. Going to fall and lose all of our freedoms (per the Constitution)

I believe there is -no doubt- a major tide turning in actual voting. I don't believe for a second that we are making more people more and more liberal. I think the last 6 years have really changed that. Truly.

However, those who "count" the votes have all the power that the MSM and influence game can't touch. And the left controls both of those.

We have got to take a major turn in the area of mass influence AND in the area of voting integrity. If those two things don't happen, see my prognostication of 1 and 2 above.
