The conservative paradise of Alabama is practically a 3rd world country

Alabama has the worst poverty in the developed world according to UN officials....and this in the land of Jesus, and churches on every corner, the most liberal gun laws in the world, conservatives running all levels of government, tougher to get an abortion in Al than anywhere else in the nation, more Fox News watchers per capita than any other state, the biggest city in the state was also the largest city that supported Trump in the nation. All things that define the conservative utopia, but somehow its failing. Sad!

Why would you call Alabama a conservative paradise? Seems disingenuous.

I doubt any conservatives hold up Alabama as any sort of conservative paradise.
On the other hand it did create authoritarians that love them some big govt like most of Alabama LEO and Jeff Sessions.

The percentage of blacks in Alabama is double the national percentage. Poverty is higher among blacks. Alabama has twice as many blacks as the national average. Do you think that has anything to do with the poverty statistics in Alabama?

My brother lived in Huntsville for 8 years. He said it was nice. But you had to learn which workers in the office were 'Bama' and which were 'Auburn.' If there were two guys named Bob in the office and you said 'Where is Bob?' you'd get 'Bama Bob or Auburn Bob?"
