Another interpretation is that right wing people are fleeing the centers of economics and power and hoping to be left alone out in the hinterlands. Meanwhile lefties are building supermajorities in states like NY CA and (coming soon) VA.
I'm not sure this is a great long term strategy.

You are correct. Our system doesn’t work under the nationwide winner take all concept we currently operate under. Going back to our roots would solve most of our problems.

The way I see it, those centers of economics and power won't be sustainable without a certain percentage of conservative-minded people. Someone has to maintain the machinery of modern life for it to continue. I'm imagining places like NY and LA with a shrinking working class (mostly the really rich and the really poor will remain), while places like Nashville and Tampa maintain a thriving working class. You could pick any number of cities in red states that could be a seat of power due to migration of a large enough amount of industrious people. Eventually, the centers of economics and power will be located in different places than they have been.

Wait...are you the guy on Harrison Blvd that always has the LSU flag hanging or the guy in the hills with the garage decked out in LSU?

Well, not in the bonus hole at least.

bullshite.
If you already look like that, you aren’t going to draw the line at this kind of shite.

Maybe you can make these places intolerable to the left via legislation. And that will keep them away.

Conservatives still don't understand.
Conservatism has to fight for it's survival by thwarting leftist parasites.
Leftism has to fight for it's survival by infecting healthy populations.
Red States will always have blue cities which will eventually turn the state blue.
It' only a mater of time.
segregation will not work.
What will work? what you refuse to do out of cowardice is the only thing that will work.
Anyone on the right who celebrates this news clearly has little idea what's coming for them.

I don’t understand the people who celebrate or brag about abortion. Pure evil. I can understand a freedom of choice argument or economic argument as a necessary evil kind of thing but to celebrate it is just sick

Imagine being so driven by a love for abortion that you seek out a place where you can be comfortable flying flags about it and wearing t-shirts proclaiming it.
Things is you could probably fly those in a conservative area and nobody would bother you. They would judge you within their circles but you wouldn’t be harassed. Fly a trump flag in liberal areas and you’d be harassed, car keyed, etc

The girl I ended up marrying and I dated, got impregnated and aborted a child when we were young. A few years later we marry and to this day losing that child is the biggest regret I have. We were young and dumb and I ask God for forgiveness every day for our mistake.
That these people use abortion as birth control amazes me. First, keep your legs crossed or figure out how birth control works. It's not that hard!
The guilt they are carrying will eventually tear them apart. That is unless they have absolutely no morals. Then frick 'em, they deserve the miserable lives they are living.

You are forgiven by God. Now you just need to forgive yourself. You are the last one left to do that.

Boise is kind of like a smaller, newer Austin. It's been written about in the local media.
West Boise and south Boise are still fairly red compared to north end full of rich leftists.
Boise's problem, for democrats, is that they can't grow south without spending hundreds of millions on water and sewer. They are land locked. So they push for huge urbanization, which they just passed in zoning. I think the density of downtown is going to explode and it will be a democrat stronghold.
The suburbs will forever be very red. Nearly everyone I meet moving to the burbs is either openly or signals they are republican voters. And I meet a lot of newcomers. At some point, Meridian might become one of the largest fully red cities in the country, and they have tons of land to build on and expand.
Balkanization is 100% happening on steroids. I've talked to plenty of democrat voters moving out the area specifically because of politics at the state level.
What worries me is Penn, Wisconsin, Michigan and Georgia to a lesser extent. When this reshuffle of populations ends, I could see the electoral college becoming a democrat lock if enough red moves out of the purples. Hispanics are naturally conservative. The RNC should be looking at the future and going hard towards those voters. Forget trying to make inroads into the black community and college women.

Balkanization? Given the sharp far left veer by Blue States I believe this self-segregating is a good thing.

Dated a chick in college and she got pregnant the first month we were together. She got scared and wanted abortion because her parents were strict and she said they’d kill her , I was conflicted. Eventually went with her and did it. We dated 6 years, ended up both regretting the decision. It didn’t work out and never married so maybe it ended up being not so bad but now I’m married and we want a baby but having trouble with it. Back of my mind wonders if God is punishing me for that decision 13 years ago
ETA it wasn’t a surgical abortion. She was only 5 weeks pregnant just took a pill and that was all.
