I refuse to accept bastardized reimaginings of words and terms with specific meaning.
Of course you don't.
As someone above pointed out, you know what gay means now. You don't refuse to only use that word to describe someone who is happy.
You don't use the word fig to describe a bundle of sticks. You don't say, "Let's have a fire. Husband, go collect us a fig and stack up some wood to get this fire going."
You might use the word straight to describe a line without curves or angles, but you also use it to mean heterosexual.
Did you know that "nice" originally meant "foolish?" Do you still use it that way?
What about "silly?" That originally meant "blessed."
"Egregious?" That originally meant "distinguished."
The truth is that you probably use "bastardized reimagining of words" every time you open your mouth, because that's what happens with words. They evolve and take on new meanings. I got a whole long list like the examples I gave above.
You're just one of the anti-Semites up in here who acts like you're too pure to utter a Joo word. Isn't that about right?

And that is the point.
Regardless of the origin of the word.

It is funny because the "Judeo" part of that label exhibits the very worst anti-semite tendencies.
How so?

Yeah.
Except I obviously didn't.

I think Judeo-Christian is actually a very apt label today.
Well said! Thank God for a voice of reason.
Besides, we make up modern terms to explain history all the time. "Byzantine Empire" is a made up term to describe the Eastern Roman Empire. There was never actually a "Byzantine Empire", but no one seems to mind.

What is a Semite?
Technically it is someone who speaks a Semitic language.

We were founded on Freedom of Religion and Separation of Church and State.

Maybe you believe that because you are oblivious...

Then why the special refusal to use that word in the context of all the other words you use that have changed their meaning?

What nation kills more Semites?

Or maybe it's because I understand simple logic.

Yep, oblivious it is

Because our origins are not "judeo-christian".
I also refuse the CE/BCE.... BC/AD all the way.

You mean the eastern European origins and traditions?

The Civil Law tradition is often called French (Napoleonic Code) and Roman, but it’s actually Byzantine and Spanish. It’s based on hybridizing the Spanish Sieta de Partidas with the old Code of Justinian and adding a handful of small updates to fit early 19th century society.
