Just not buying these targeted 'split ticket' results. GOP Gov, but not the GOP senator? Or vice versa? Such things are super rare, but we see them trending more and more, and always against the GOP.
Funny.

I want all of them to win but why the difference in votes for Kari & Masters? I find it hard to believe that a Kari voter would either not vote for Masters by leaving it blank or vote for Kelly. Does anyone have any insight here?
ETA: didn’t see Kaiju’s post above.

I'm pretty sure Masters had been critical of Turtle during the race. Mitch demands loyalty to Mitch above all else. See Murkowski.

Rick Grenell said on the Kelly podcast it was personal between Masters and McConnell......implication is they hate each other. This is one where McConnell wasn't going to lift a finger to a damn thing for Masters.

Masters is creepy AF. He makes the skin crawl on about 80% of women. Kelly had a shite ton of money to spend, and he made sure every woman in AZ saw 50 times selfies of a near naked Masters he posed on the Internet few years ago. Not 20 years ago. A few years ago.
Kelly spent a ton of money establishing how moderate he was, even though he’s up Biden’s arse on everything.
ETA - Kelly was vulnerable. This is a seat we should have picked up.

You are not going to twist this from Mitch.
Mitch pulled the money! Period.

Appreciate the insight.

You need to read the words actually posted to this message board.
I was answering a guy that asked about why a voter would vote for Lake but not Masters. He asked for insight. I live in Phoenix. So I explained.
I said nothing about Mitch or Trump or Theil, all three of them reneged on promises to fund Masters and left him at a severe dollar disadvantage. I think it was in Sep when everybody piled out of his campaign.

There are a million things to blame on turtle Mitch and he needs to be gone yesterday. So why blame him for one of the few things he didn't frick up. He didn't want Masters because he thought he was a weirdo. This one is not on Mitch.
Mitch is the problem 90% of the time, but blaming him for Masters, Oz, Buldoc, and Herschel is just dishonest.

Masters made it clear he would not support McConnell for Senate leadership….McConnell wants yes men and women…like Murkowski and Rubio.

Bass Tiger,
I fully agree with you, but don't you think Masters should have kept his big mouth shut and not openly said.
I don't like you and won't support you for Majority leader...and by the way, give me some of your money?
Pretty rude (or at least naïve).

It does. 274k same day drop off. Will put Lake over the top. Masters was just too far behind.
Only a fool would believe split ticketing was happening in any meaningful numbers. Especially not for a POS like Kelly.

I have no issue with his open honesty. I have zero time for anyone who would engage in such arse kissing to Mitch. Let the establishment excrement know what we think of them.

While I wholeheartedly agree the Turtle should have been supporting Masters over funding Murk against another R, isn't Masters worth a huge pile himself?
The money wasted by McConnell in AK for Murkowski would have delivered two America First victories….AK and AZ

AZ has 390k left. This race when all said and done will be settled by less than 20k votes
