That'll work!

Well we haven't won a war since WWII and everything we allegedly fought against we have become.

They have to go unless you want what’s happening to NY, Michigan, Minnesota and now Texas to continue.

What sect of Islam do you think most of them are? It isn't Shia if you're confused.

That’s a good thing. We don’t need to be losing American soldiers in this day and age for whatever bullshite the neocons have cooked up. A few of the posters in this thread would’ve have agreed with me if this thread had taken place in October 2024.

2 questions

What is the military’s function?

Do you believe defeating Iran would cost between 60-400k lives of U.S. service members?

Seems like Trump knows it would take ground troops. What’s your point?

Yeah...I've been in one. It's dumb as hell to do and it sucks.

After WWII our government has been increasingly lying and deceiving us.
The federal government has expanded waaayyyyyyy outside of what our founding fathers intended.

Here's the truth not many like to hear:
The situation we find ourselves in today and all the bitching about the DC establishment is our fault.
We the people. Twist and turn and offer every excuse you wish.... but for decades Americans, generally, have become spoiled and soft.

Honestly, it's highly doubtful that we can turn things around. That being said, I don't believe we will be beaten.
I don't know when nor exactly how, but eventually we will have to use our 2A and set things right.

Ever since Vietnam, our adversaries know they have willing allies in the American media and soft headed Left to win the PR battle before the first salvos end. Add to that social media and it is even worse.

Flag draped coffins are never a good thing and certainly not a desired outcome, but to win wars and defeat enemies lives have to be lost on your side and a lot more of your enemy have to be killed.

you're actually comparing apples and oranges.

This isn't about fighting a conventional war. This is about wasting considerable resources and credibility with no clear attainable objective. We have managed to kill Iranian civilians and put a dent in their military,
although it remains effective enough to attack vessels in the Strait and bomb neighboring countries, while working on its nuclear program...

Bush had MASSIVE bipartisan support for the war on terror (at first), which was obviously way after Vietnam.

OP was wrong from his very first sentence.

I truly believe that if Hamas today did some type of terror act in the U.S. half of the country would praise Hamas, and the other half would want them to pay for their actions. This country is truly lost.

Madking will sacrifice the lives of white Christian Americans in flyover country to defeat Shia Islamic terrorism (at the behest of his ultimate masters) while simultaneously allying with the perpetrators of 9/11, who actually killed exponentially more of his countrymen than Iran ever has.

We don’t care about terrorists as long as they do deals with us.
