Worse than no insurance?
So that's the standard for success.
What's your standard, when we're comparing those who were previously uninsured and are now insured?

As a business man I've seen health insurance prices rise dramatically. Employee raises go to insurance and nothing on the check.
What tweaks do you think could be made to help your specific situation?

What tweaks do you think should be made to make the plans easier to deal with, to make them better?
Um when you can't afford your deductible and your are forced under penalty of law to pay premiums, guess what? You don't get the care you need, and you get sick anyway after wasting money on outrageous premiums.
So yes it is worse than nothing at all.
The basis of your rationale makes me wonder if you understand the dynamics of what's going on here.

Silver exchange plans do not the entirety of the health insurance industry make.

My Doc would not take the plans offered here! I had to travel 2 hours to find a DR that took it. Literally going to the Dr took a whole day from work.

BamaATL is a liar on this subject and likely benefits from it being in place. He will not acknowledge the hardships it places on those who are not his patients.

More people are insured, costs are decreasing (or increasing at a slower rate), and there doesn't appear to be any adverse effects on access to physicians.
This is utter bullshite...
My costs have gone up 150% over last 3 years.. My deductible has gone up 300%. Copays have gone up 50%. My wife has had 1 doctor in last 3 years "retire" from practice due to AMA, and the other quit taking insurance all together and now only operates on a cash business.
I know several people who currently do not have medical insurance because they work, yet they can't afford what AMA plans are out there.

Do you have data to suggest this is actually happening, given that access to physicians is better now than pre-ACA?

Looks like about as much data manipulation as climate "science".
Too many *Note sample limited to non elderly adults*.....*Note: data for 2015 incomplete*....*Note Pre ACA projections have been adjusted*....Just like global warming "science" keep tweeking data until it shows what you want.
Thats not what science does.

Not per the data - which are far stronger than your personal anecdote.

Data show that it's only the rich who use HSAs, and the ACA was modeled on taxing the rich to pay for care for the poor. Catastrophic policies were phased out because otherwise insurers would have used them to get around the minimum coverage requirements.
We shouldn't be punishing sections of society especially when it comes to healthcare. The ACA is a policy driven boondoggle that wrecks private enterprise and selection.. for the record, high deductible plans should be the preferred insurance for the poor.. we aren't all equal whether poor, young or old.. as a poor college and young worker, I choose a high deductible policy because it fit my needs financially.. as I moved up the ladder I choose another more comprehensible policy.. That's how it's supposed to work

State and federal regulations didn't stop the manufacturer of epi-pens from increasing the price 600%.

Because all elderly adults have insurance through Medicare. You wouldn't include a group that's perpetually at 100% coverage when you want to show changes in the uninsured rate.
Showing clear data in an informative way is exactly what science does, btw.

How does doctor access have anything to do with patient affordability?
If you can't afford your deductible (often $7000 per family) how on earth are you going to pay for any doctor? Again your logic is failing here.
