Let's not spike the football just yet.

It still has to survive appeals in the fifth circuit and John Roberts is still the Chief Justice and evidence is very slim as to whether he'll do the right thing or not.

You are right to be level headed.

We should not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s just stand back and enjoy the show.

If anyone is still looking for my Christmas present, RBG off the court would be perfect!

Then John Roberts can cuck-out all he wants.

Did Trump appoint the judge in Texas or something?

I'm not seeing where he had anything to do with this.

But to his point, what does that have to do with Trump getting rid of it?

Republicans had 2 years to get rid of it and did nothing. Nationalized health care is here to stay. They may change some minor rules, but it's not going anywhere

Let's not dance on the head of a pin here.

Getting rid of the mandate directly affected this decision which may well survive appeals.

And, last I checked, Trump pushed for and got the mandate repeal. The OP is clearly having fun with that but leave to liberals to show up and suddenly want to parse it.

I don't know about all of that

The ruling is based on the removal of the individual mandate from the tax cut bill

So I wouldn't say that nothing has been done about it. That tax cut bill opened the door for this ruling to be made.

The individual mandate is unconstitutional as all hell, and any American with a functioning brain and an ounce of pride and spine agrees.

There is nothing American about forcing someone to buy anything.

Social Security is fricking unconstitutional, too.

God Bless TRUMP. Our President. The President.

Be careful what you wish for. I have no idea how you can cover pre-existing conditions without a mandate. Only other way is for the government to shoulder the cost.

I mean at some point facts matter

Trump should certainly be given some credit here but to act as if this is some unilateral victory is nonsense

Excellent since no one did that.
