Doesn’t sound great but it’s better than China owning these ports.
At the end of the day Blackrock is an American company that will answer to the US govt. they’ll drive a hard profit from this port, but it’ll be corporatized and fair, rather than potentially cut off completely by the Chinese communists and unfair

For what?
There are 5 big ports and a lot of small ones, operated by consortiums. SSi also operates ports there, and is an American operation.
The ports dont control pricing of traversing the canal. Private companies make deals with consortiums for services, if they need them and its usually contracted.
It sounds like MAGA people think we're socializing these ports, and we are not. Nothing will change.
Yall were lied to about the canal and "overcharging."

2) I'm less a fan of communist China
3) Some of my retirement funds are invested through BlackRock
4) China is purposefully undercutting my economy
