If true, this looks fine to me. Everything is contingent on the final deal, which requires the removal of all nuclear material.

I was told the bombings started in Feb werent a new war because Iran and their groups have been targeting and killing Americans and our allies for 40 years.
Whats preventing their unfrozen assets from filing the pocket books to fund more terrorist attacks?
and werent we supposed to help out the Iranian protestors? Does this agreement do anything about Iran executing protestors?

The US Intelligence community and everybody on Earth knew Iran could do that. All the facts about the Strait have been known for decades
Thats why no President until Trump would commit to such action. Nearly every industry on Earth is affected by these prices, not just the O& G.
Trump may have been led to believe air strikes alone would topple Iran. The loss of their Supreme Leader, and the protestors would be galvanized to do our dirty work instead of committing boots on the ground to finish it.

Kinda, sorta. Iran had paid the US $400 million for arms prior to the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty. When shite went sideways, we didn't deliver. The $1.7 billion was that $400 million plus interest.
