You saw where a thug criminal bit the dust and you just had to run in here to defend him.
Who ties your shoes for you? Seriously, someone simply HAS to be helping you with that task.

I hate this argument.
There was an article years ago where a person who had their vehicle stolen and had insurance. The problem was the car was older and he just put a bunch of money into it.
When it was found trashed insurance wouldn't give him shite for it.
It was their families only vehicle and he couldn't get to work. Absolutely affected his family. He was concerned he'd lose his job because he couldn't get to work.
Through no fault of his own he was going to end up getting screwed.

If you steal my stuff, you are taking the stance that your life is worth less than my stuff.

I asked him if it was just the Fords they were targeting and he said he didnt know. So maybe its any model.

Fussy that someone stole your thunder? I'd have thought the part I quoted was a clue, but you obviously missed it.
Relax. It's Friday.
You'd have gotten away with it without mentioning the name directly. He's got a search down for his name.

Duly noted.
I'll be less on the nose from now on.

Under Texas law, the vehicle owner was justified to use force to recover his property.
Under Texas law, the vehicle owner was justified to use deadly force to protect himself.

Sec. 9.41(b)(1). PROTECTION OF ONE'S OWN PROPERTY.
A person unlawfully dispossessed of … property … is justified in using force against … to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to … recover the property if the actor uses the force … in fresh pursuit after the dispossession and ... the actor reasonably believes the other had no claim of right when he dispossessed the actor ....
Under Texas law, the vehicle owner was justified to use deadly force to protect himself.

DEADLY FORCE IN DEFENSE OF PERSON.
Sec. 9.32(a)(2).

Here’s a little reality pill for, YOUR name isn’t worth two stinky wet shits here. Everyone knows your act. No o e thinks you’re half as smart as you do, and they’re right.
You’re a disgrace to Texas and a typical aggie.

This is a very Texas news story. Replace "truck" with "horse" and we are right back to the 1870's.
