Abbott’s plan for Texas has always been to make our state economy as big as possible at all costs, even if that means importing a bunch of Indians and Muslims. He’s not a real conservative and never was.

And Houston is a major growth area for Islam. I had an acquaintance tell me once he got caught in backed up 5 o'clock traffic on Southwest Freeway. On that freeway there is an overhead pedestrain crosswalk and by chance his car stopped right under it. It was then he saw him - a young muslim man looking at him. He wasn't hispanic, he wasn't black, he was muslim. Their eyes locked on each other. The young man didn't divert his eyes......he just stared at my friend.
It was then a cold realization descended on my friend - if that young muslim man had decided to pick him off with an AK-47 he could have done it easily.
Where am I going with this? They're here, they're hating, and they're waiting.

Am I concerned about the growing number of hijabs and badly maintained beards I’m seeing around Dallas? Yes.
But Abbott and Paxton have been very outspoken about Sharia Law prohibitions and are all over that enclave being built in Josephine.
This thread is also not considering the HUGE Hispanic, Indian, and Asian populations in Texas will blunt the Muslim growth.
Indians HATE Muslims. There’s a reason Pakistan exists.
Do you think Catholic Vietnamese and Hispanics are going to put up with Islam? They won’t. And they breed a lot, too.
The Chinese who are here are not about to trade their freedom for subjugation by Muslims.
Texas Muslims are not going to magically outbreed all of these groups.
Richardson elected a Muslim mayor due to low turnout. But very little has changed there in two years. There is very little change in the Asian and Hispanic areas of that town. The wealthy white and Jewish areas are still quite white and Jewish. Five churches: St Joe’s Catholic, Watermark, First UMC Richardson, FBC Richardson, and The Heights all outdraw the largest mosque there. And that doesn’t include the Vietnamese churches.
We still have a 1st Amendment and Muslims are allowed to build houses of worship. We know their game. We know their strategy. Keep in mind we have many more allies against them.

Texas has been a solid red state for how long?
Muslims did not gain a strong foothold there without support from the political party in power, i.e., the GOP. This cannot be blamed on Democrats.

Texas is pretty bad. It ain't just the Mooslems. The amount of Indians I've seen was shocking. I thought California was bad. Texas is big trouble. The country really is as a whole. All these non compatible foreigners imported, this country will be unrecognizable. All of these combatants do nothing but undermine the system.

The GOP party has been completely complicit in all of this but the problem is much deeper
Our state has no cap on how much donor money politicians can get for their campaigns. This has basically turned it into a playground where the richest oil executives can spend as much money as they please on politicians that they know will be pro-oil. Corporations love it here because they know Abbott has done his part in bringing in H-1Bs who will bring their expenses down.
