Seems just a year or so ago the hard core Trumpists on this board hated Greg Abbott.

He's been the governor since 2015. What took him so long?

Most people support him now, but wanted this kind of action years ago.

Many of us heavily criticized Abbott for ignoring this problem for so long.

This. What’s occurring today should have occurred a year or more ago.

That said, I understand the political reasons for it occurring now.

Any of you Baws heading down this way? There is a convoy of trucks heading to the border for a 'mostly peaceful protest' from 1/29-2/2.

I read an interesting theory this morning...not sure of the validity; however, it makes sense with the efforts this government is taking to flood this country with illegals.

The theory is that Biden's handlers (Obama and team, WEF) are working directly with the cartels to facilitate this and the trafficking of kids. Truly amazing and hard to believe...until you research a little more.

Saddle up, boys.

It sounds like he tried everything else, and finally accepted that this was the only option left?

Are you? Really? Or is this just more political hyperboil and pandering?
I really doubt he or the men there have the balls to really start pulling triggers
and shooting at Ameircan Military.

I wish he was serious about defending the border, but I don't belive a word any of them say anymore.

This slices both ways. Is Biden ready to start pulling triggers and shooting American citizens?

SIAP but Kentucky AG checked in earlier

Kentucky stands with @GregAbbott_TX and Texas’ right to self defense on the Southern Border.

President Biden’s failed open border has let poison that’s killing our kids pour into Kentucky and made us a border state.

Just because republicans win by a slim margin in statewide races doesn't mean that the majority of Texans will vote to secede. That has always been a pipe dream.

Covered and followed by so many? During an election year? Over a heavily unpopular item for a heavily unpopular president?

If you can’t see the difference in this scenario then it’s not even worth discussing with you anymore.
