This is foolish. If a person wants to be a Republican politically, what does that have to do with sexual orientation? Let them in, don't drive them to the Dems.

Thats a big "if".

Being a homosexual, or holding any type of sexual preference does not disqualify one from being a Republican.

Every unisex bathroom I have ever encountered was either single use or had floor to ceiling stalls.

If you were politically to the left and held all beliefs common to the Democratic Party, including being a registered Democrat...but the Democratic Party of your state told you that you and those like you (insert demographic here) were literally not allowed to be affiliated with the party.

Would that make you more or less likely to be enthusiastic in your support of the Democratic Party?

I have no problem letting them in the party. Drop your fricking sexuality and group at the door on the way in.

When you join Logcabin Republicans rather than just the Republicans, you're putting your sexuality on display out there.

Why can't these folks just join the Texas republican party rather than a group based upon the bedroom?

Those are not inconsistent statements. Unisex bathrooms are not inherently un-conservative.

Again...what were the "policy differences" at issue?
How can one arrive at a conclusion without knowing this?

So where do the Log Cabiners stand on all the trans lunacy? Are the issues that make them Republican purely economic? I know a couple of surprisingly conservative gay dudes. Or maybe they just loathed Hillary like all decent Americans.

How fricking stupid. The loon evangelical wing of the GOP will always be there to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

We fairly criticize Democrats for keeping contrary groups under one system.

But the right wing Evangelical and the LGBT crowd are the one example of the GOP doing the same.

If any of you are homosexual or know someone who is, how do they cope with this aspect of the GOP. You can't combine homosexuality acceptance with biblical adherence. At some point your going to give in to one group.

It seems the group was not allowed. Why can't the individuals join? I saw nothing precluding that.

At the convention, there will be hundreds of booths from hundreds of groups with hundreds of different policy interests.

There will be groups supporting the Second Amendment. They will be group supporting the first amendment. Groups supporting the gold standard and groups supporting home schooling. All trying to influence the platform committee. You name it, it will probably be there.

But no groups allowed to support gay rights.

I can’t imagine that any reasonable person would elevate trans issues, or any social issue, to a high priority in their political decisions. doing so is about as low-information and low-intelligence as one can be.

So you disagree with them on bathrooms and who they can enter into a lawful contract with. Those two things mean they cannot be affiliated with the state GOP? Good lord that’s peak stupidity.
