What happens to "Beto" and Abrams now? Fade away or chronic self-enriching gadflies?

He’s never going away because he has such a massive campaign war chest from his first run at governor and the only way he can spend it is to keep running for something every year. It allows him to keep his rich lifestyle.
I think he got something like 100mil the first go around. I remember the entire democrat party was furious he didn’t help anybody else’s campaign.

Beto O’Rourke officially caught up to Gov. Greg Abbott in fundraising for the governor’s race late last month, erasing Abbott’s once-formidable cash-on-hand advantage.
New campaign finance reports show O’Rourke ended the latest reporting period, July 1 through Sept. 29, with $16.47 million cash on hand. Abbott had $16.35 million in the bank.
Abbott spent far more than O’Rourke during the period — $53 million to $32 million — and the governor’s campaign said his expenses included $30 million in pre-purchased advertising time through Election Day.

I’m in Waco, it is never played here. Good that it’s played in Houston though
I’m in Temple and see ads hitting him more than for him.
I have sling if that makes any difference.

Checking in as a proud voter against Beto and Lina!

The very fact Abbott will leave the governor's mansion is sufficient enough.
With how well he handled Covid in the face of idiocy across the nation, why do you have such a hard on for Abbott?

A few years back, there were quite a few Beto yard sign in my small Texas town (transplants from Austin mainly retirees) and this year I have noticed maybe four total sign for the dickwad. I don’t quite see the support for him this time around.

Because Abbott supports taking guns away too

My subdivision is in suburban Dallas and the Abbott signs outnumber the RFO signs 2:1. There were only RFO signs in 2018.
I drive through wealthy Dallas neighborhoods quite a bit (Lakewood, Casa Linda, Preston Hollow, Park Cities). In 2018, RFO signs were everywhere. This year, the presence of Abbott signs is notable. Abbott doesn’t outnumber RFO down there, but it’s obvious there’s more enthusiasm from conservatives this go round.

I see 0 Abbott Signs and less Beto signs than last time. Think Abbott will win by more than he did over Lupe.
Beto is running on guns and Uvalde and the freeze.
Nothing Beto has offered would have helped either.

You are so right. Beto signs everywhere-especially on corners. I can NOT imagine what these people think he will do better than Abbott. The craziest are the Mothers Against Abbott. They live in 3 million dollar homes but want to elect a socialist who took money from Soros.

Haven't seen any Beto signs in my neighborhood in Sugar Land. I can count on one hand how many Beto bumper stickers I've seen on cars out here

Lulz
Abbott will beat his arse by double digits. Abbott probably forgets he's even in an election right now. Beta is a clown.
