Oh, this isn’t fear. Talarico’s insanely woke speeches are a goldmine. Dems learned nothing in 2024. Your party decided to double-down on woke.

There were actually morons on this board who thought this dude was more electable than that crazy woke chick he beat in the primary.

Black people absolutely will not vote for this man.

I’m so confused with leftists. They’ve always hated Christianity and anything to do with God. Why would they like this clown?

I don’t know much about him. I don’t think there are any democrats on this board but nice try. He seems righteous is all I said. I threw the 48 jersey up because there seems to be a fear of him here

Manny Farber’s 1962 essay defines “white elephant art” as pretentious, over-produced, and "masterpiece"-driven work, while "termite art" is spontaneous, process-oriented, and "chews" through materials without regard for polish. Termite art is characterized by an obsessive, moment-to-moment focus that disregards boundaries, often found in B-movies
“white elephant revolution” = throwing bombs from the outside

"termite revolution" = destroying from within

Anyone remember Mel White? Longtime Evangelical figure who came out as a f@g in the 90s. I'll never forget his quote from that time, after got installed as "pastor" of some leftist "church": "You will accept us in your churches, or we will tell them apart"

Lot of truth in that. What is for sure is God is sovereign over all things. It reminds me of Psalms chapter 2 where the heathen rage and plot...yet God just laughs at them and their plans.

Exactly. This is why I don't fear AI. People think these things are worrisome, but in the end it all goes according to the will of God.

That’s definitely happened with the Methodists and Episcopalians.

I'm a disciple of Christ, not a "leftist". Your signature line implies being a pastor. If so, then you'd know that the soundbite was Talarico speaking.to this: "for I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ Then he will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

It's responding to Christ greatest commandment, hardly the 'thin veneer". Who we support and who we scoff at says much about us and how we will be judged.

He has far more egregious takes than this.

This one is not that dissimilar to Matthew 25.

Jesus also cleaned house in the Temple without due process.

Jesus Cleanses the Temple
12 Then Jesus went into the temple [a]of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
