55% is sky high for a midterm but bad if the turnout is driven by urban voters
Damn so people didn't stay home they actually switched sides
Those turn out numbers are super interesting. Seems more and more young people are paying attention to midterms now

A shitty Republican is better than a dem unfortunately
Think about what you are saying here. How about instead of putting forth shitty republicans that absolutely will not fight and will with certainty stab you in the back, we start putting forth good fricking people?

Rs didn’t vote. They came out in force in 2024 in response to runaway wokeness and inflation, and their president proceeded to start a war, say even crazier shite, and make life even more unaffordable. Why would they vote today?
When Abbott threw a hissy fit over a town trying to keep its money rather than sending it to Israel he showed so he is.

Well now that the Dems control all the available spots on the state Supreme Court, the Governor, Lt Governor, Rail Road Commissioner, and AG, I’m certain that there definitely won’t be any type of legalized frickery at all that would make it tough for republicans to win in any future state or national elections…

Can’t be said more accurately than this

They're about to find out in a very difficult fashion.

That's not true because they wouldn't have just been voting Democrat now they would have been voting Democrat this whole time so the state would have been blue for a while. It's just the economy, the only reason any voting ever happens is because the economy nothing else matters.

Maybe it’s just taken them this long to form a majority.
Texas will go the way of Georgia.

84% decrease in daily apprehensions compared to previous administration and 980000 deported but since it wasn't 100% closed and all illegals deported I guess it doesn't count.

Texas you have to show ID to vote. A bunch of illegals didn't swing this beating.
I bet when the numbers come out R's stayed home and D's came out in big numbers. I voted all R's on my Texas ballot but obviously not enough people like me bothered to show up and now we pay the price.
