Tesla Engineer’s Harrowing Encounter with a Factory Robot: Alarming Incident at Tesla’s Giga Texas Facility Raises Safety Concerns

A disturbing and violent episode unfolded at Tesla’s Giga Texas factory, where a robotic arm designed for manipulating aluminum car parts aggressively assaulted a Tesla engineer.

In a shocking turn of events, the robot clamped onto the engineer’s back and arm, leaving a noticeable blood trail across the factory floor.

This alarming incident, which occurred while the engineer was working on the software for two non-functioning robots, resulted in a significant open wound on his left hand.….

I've been saying all along they will turn once arriving in the workplace.

It's only a matter of time the more you see these things humans will have to carry weapons to stop them. The Terminator movie was way ahead of its time.

Ah, to be back in 1984 when the whole premise of the Terminator was thought to be ridiculous. All we’re lacking at this point is time travel.

Are we, though?

Not saying we can, but nothing would surprise me at this point

It doesn't stop sound like this incident involved AI. Just a malfunction because the idiot engineer didn't lock out the machine.

Yup, lots of fear mongering. And based on responses in this thread, it worked.

Yeah, but once they taste human blood for the 1st time, you can never regain control.

At least the end would be swift. Doombots hellbent on world domination may indeed actually be an improvement on the augmented reality we currently are enduring….
