They seem to have forgotten about Ralph 'Black Face' Northam

As long as you realize defending bs like this in 2019 is why you see the identity politics you do all the time.
I honor his memory and his legacy and make sure his story is passed on to my kids and their kids, and everyone else willing to listen. There is nothing you can do about it either
People absolutely love the legend of NBF, and I hope that really makes you mad.

Lol, what if I say something nice about Jews. Will that make me smart?
Some people who hate me also love Palestinians and dislike Jews. So just think about that.

Millions of people admire him, as do their children. I hope that makes you mad.

I honestly cannot believe any governor would do this in this climate.

How did that work out for the “people of the south”?

Leave it to the poli board to defend honoring Nathan Bedford Forrest and the KKK
Leave it to a lib to have issues with something they only learned while watching Forrest Gump yet have no issues with Robert Byrd.

Jesus Christ, did anyone read the blurb in the OP?
The Tennessee governor is required by law to issue this proclamation.
The Tennessee governor takes an oath to faithfully execute Tennessee law.

Pure fricking bullshite. You're an idiot if you think there are "millions of people" who even know who he was.

I’ve only ever known him as the guy who founded the KKK.
He always denied any involvement and claimed that lazy writers conflated his nickname of "Grand Wizard of the Saddle" with the Klan leadership positions that would come years later. I haven't researched this enough to take a position and it could be bullshite but I'm always open to claims of lazy journalism.

The KKK was founded to protect Southerners from the horrible tyranny of Northern rule
How does burning crosses and lynching people accomplish this?
The founders didn't use cross burning. The first recorded cross burning wasn't until 1915, 50 years after the Klan was founded. I know they don't teach actual history in the liberal indoctrination camps commonly referred to as schools, but there are plenty of resources out there.
As far as how either can be used to dissuade northerners from forcing their rule on the South, it should only require a modicum of common sense to understand.

This thread is looking a lot like the Aggie lead threads of "Epstein isn't a pedophile"
