The ID thing is a misdirect. The real reason is because the SAVE America Act does not have any real funding in it to cover the cost of the mandate coming from on high. Paying for IDs is negligible paying to be in compliance with the rest of the mandates by state functionaries is a cost that is not being reimbursed.

The Senate knows this. So does the House except the House needs to have this issue framed like it is because talking about the funding is too boring of an issue and doesn't get public traction.

Correct, see point above. Voter ID is their problem. Not ID. They are not consistent which is why my point above is 100% true. If voter ID is enacted, then the steal gets much harder for them (but not impossible).

Voter id is the most reasonable use of an id

Has nothing to do with citizens gaining an ID, stop falling for that crap. It has to do with illegals and dead people voting in elections period.

Yes. They most certainly ARE able. They can fill out form after form for various handouts, Dr. lic, etc. They don't view a voter id as having any return AND it takes away a straw man in their arguments.
