Ted is right in the sense he is inferring it.

Did I miss something in the video or did he only say he was troubled by how some people are using it?

He didn't call the phrase offensive

He said he agreed Christ is King

And I only got halfway through but it didn't seem like he was going to ask that it be banned or anything

I can't imagine a scenario where a sincere Christian would be happy that phrase is being hijacked for that sort of hatred.

Eat a dick, Ted.

Same bullshite argument has people asserting the Betsy Ross flag (or other Revolutionary War era flags - Gadsden Flag, etc.) are "hate symbols"

Frick Ted Cruz

Also, for all you Israel is our greatest ally neo-cons, this statement will become official US stance thanks to AIPAC. One day you will realize, they hate you more than they claim you hate them.

Never bought his act. When I found out his wife worked for Goldman Sachs and even took a loan from them it became obvious. He hitched his wagon to the Ron Paul Revolution when he ran for senate.

Ted Cruz digs the hole deeper:

TED: "I will say....'Christ is King' is a phrase that almost invokes images of The Crusade'".

TED: * "It was not the Jews who killed Jesus. It was you. It was me.

If your point was, "Everybody killed Jesus", then yes Ted, I agree. But that also includes Jews.

TED: "To be clear, the precise people are the Romans. I don't see anybody being angry at the Italians -- they were the ones in charge of the government at the time Jesus was crucified -- it was Pontius Pilate who gave the order!"

Under whose direction and legal demand?: The Jewish Sanhedrin and Pharisees.

TED: * "Christ is King is used online to say, 'Screw you jew!' and to say, 'I hate jews" as a code word.'

By a handful of people? Or...perhaps it's code for reinforcement truth? Stop being an accusatory, paranoid "pre-crime" censor and mind reader, Ted.

TED: * [Those people who use the phrase] make it sound as though there's some kind of Biblical basis for attacking Jews."

Huh?? "Biblical basis"? that's a lie and distortion. Delusion.

TED: * "And by the way their twisted theology that says Jews are Christ-killers has been used to justify antisemitism, persecution and murder."

What "twisted theology", Ted? You're the only one with a twisted, warped theology -- of actual Christianity.

Christians have also often been the victims and targets of persecution and murder -- past AND present. Why aren't you defending your brethren?

Ted Cruz is obviously brainwashed into a Scofield Bible mind-set. He not only doesn't understand Scripture and context, but he also seems to be angling politically to endorse hard censorship of the Bible and NT on behalf of his masters. Shame on you, Ted.

I can't imagine a group of sincere Christians, getting together, and deciding anti-semitism is a much bigger issue than anti-Christian sentiment and then deciding draconian anti-semitism laws are needed.

I also cannot imagine a group of sincere Christians looking at a nation that persecutes Christians at an alarming rate and says "they are our bestest ally and we should give them billions".

But here we are.

The Jews have had 2000 years to accept Christ. If they can’t get on board by now I think it’s time to stop worrying about how it might offend them.

Can you cite the exact time in the video when he discusses these laws?

Are you denying that antisemitism movements online aren't using "Christ is King" to further those purposes?
