Wasn't there a hike in rates under Obama?

If so why isn't that one in the average?

I learned in high school that "historically unpopular" is not as bad as it sounds.

If the GOP passed a bill that did nothing but cut taxes for people making less than $100,000, you'd have MSNBC explaining how $100,000 was actually rich, and that the GOP hated blacks.

They could poll giving libs gold bars and the poll would come out negative.

It's all part of #resist.

I doubt many polled have read the tax bill.

Obama didn’t have a tax hike other than the ACA. He did end a few of Bush’s tax cuts but never raised rates.

33% believe in voodoo economics or have stock holdings worth discussion.

No one else buys this nonsense. After the 2018 election they will be after gutting social security and medicare to pay the shortfall.

Their complaint would be that people who made say... $3,0000 and under weren't paying taxes, so they weren't seeing the benefits of the tax cut so they are getting screwed, and only the democrats could do something about it. Then Rubio would step in, make part of the tax cut a refundable credit and they'd still bitch about it.

Is there even one person who posts on this board who doesn't get a significant tax cut?

Most citizens will never know what is in the Bill. The MSM is quite effective in framing the argument.
Several years ago, ex LA Mayor, Willie Brown was on a talk show lamenting the cutting of education spending by the Republican President. The host of the show asked him are you not aware that the administration has increased the education budget significantly. Brown in a typical political response, changed the subject.

Like Chick Fil A, facts don't match their MSM reputation.
