This is an update from a very good friend of mine. Our non-profit (Vulnerable People’s Project) is working to get Americans and those at risk out of Afghanistan. At the 1 minute make there is audio from just the other day in country. It’s not a good situation.

Here is an update on the bombing at the airport. Apparently, there was a knowledge of the approximate time that the bomb would go off and a countdown was being given over the communications radio.

Dereliction of duty of whoever was in charge of those people stationed at the gate, and treason of those people that worked out the deal with the taliban and set up this cluster frick of a withdrawal. Withdrawl is a poor word for this. It has been a way to intentionally turn over billions to terrorists.

Good news! My son and his unit got back to Ft. Campbell early, early this morning and after working a few hours to get the C-17s unloaded he hit the rack and then gave me a call.
He is back for a while at least. Of course, as he put it that is subject to change on 12 hours notice.
Trying to get him to take leave in October/November for an elk hunt.

I'm sure there are a few Marines that would like pay back. frick it...no other justification needed at this point. Let us go back in for one reason and one reason only...kill every swinging dick that even looks like he could be a bad guy, let god sort them out. One regiment could role through afghanistan inside of a week, if it's "no holds barred".
