I had a feeling this was going to happen. It turns out other countries don't like when you frick them and peace out in the middle of the night.

I sure hope they put the Night Stalkers to good use and let them actually do the job they are perfectly suited for. However, our executive branch is currently paralyzed by fear IMHO.

Well, they kind of are the Wolverines of Afghanistan. A ragtag group of fighters defending their homeland from an invading empire that hates their way of life.

Yes but they really seem to enjoy having their citizens stranded in enemy territory and the US telling them to just shelter in place or travel to the airport whichever you think is safer for you and your group. Nothing gets your allies more excited than throwing their citizens to the wolves.

Qatar has said they are full and won't allow anymore Afghani's for processing.

Hey, baw, where is PisgahPete? I'll rag on him for some of his posts here, but I don't want to see anyone in bad shape like you said he may be.

I don't know but I saw that the Pisgah area received over 16 inches of rain on Wednesday. The mountains of NC are devastated from Ashville to the Highlands to South Carolina. It was the biggest rain fall in the history of the area. Brevard/Cashiers/Sapphire areas were totally fricked.

just reported that there are over 10,000 people who are processed and ready to go but there is nowhere to fly them to because Qatar is refusing to accept more Afgans because they reached capacity so all evacuation flights are now paused until the US can make new plans with another country in Europe who is currently telling the US to go frick themselves.
10K "processed" aka we let them into the airport.
Also, think about all of the recent refugee/humanitarian effort recently and how that's transforming countries.
US with Syrians/Afghanis/South Americans. Germany has had serious issues. Greece/Turkey. France has had a large muslim groups. All of these countries are changing.

Damn. It is hard to narrow down which Pisgah he could be from. There are a few. I hope he and his property and family are okay if he's in that area.

@kjp46 (Deputy WH Press Sect.)
What we are witnessing was a "plan".
