You're opinion is also worthy! Neither of us can know the future.

My opinion is based on this fact: the American Left instaled Biden as POTUS for a specific reason and that reason is to complete the domestic agenda objectives BEFORE Nov 2022. How can they get this done if the A-ghan thing is still discrediting Biden's Admin? They can't.

So my theory is that the US Ministry of Propaganda has a lot of work to do between now and Nov 22, and, I'm convinced that they are determined to achieve these Propaganda objectives - they exist for NO OTHER reason now.

Mass media has never failed to fight for the American Left - not in your lifetime. They won't stop fighting now.

That's my 2 cents.

Biden just didn't listen to advisors. This was more of a unilateral decision from this admin than you think.

His non-military advisers almost certainly made this decision as we all know Joe didn't make any decisions whatsoever. Politics, optics, and hubris were the drivers for this decision, not military/capability analysis. It's the same reason QRF teams sat on a runway while Benghazi was in flames.

The British military has stepped in to evacuate some American citizens who were left behind in Afghanistan following the Biden administration's chaotic pullout of U.S. forces and the nation's quick fall to Taliban terrorists, according to former Deputy National Security Advisor Matthew Pottinger.

"The United Kingdom right now, I know that they’re running patrols into Kabul to get British citizens, Afghans and in some cases Americans that they encounter, and helping bring them to safety," Pottinger told FOX Business' Larry Kudlow on Thursday.

So much heartache and sadness. Never in my wildest nightmare did I think that someone I would vote for would have intentionally done this to our allies who risked their lives and that of their families, to protect our service men and women. I regret giving @JoeBiden my vote!

Per a article on Fox News.. we flew out 5,700 people yesterday from Kabul. Is there a break down of those number, how many American citizens, how many Afghan citizens?

Just yesterday morning on msnbS they were saying how short term the memory is for Americans and this Will be a non factor for the elections in 16 months.

They only care about spin. That’s it

They're 100% right too. They own the media apparatus and as soon as this winds down, they'll be screaming about white supremacy, covid, Trump, and preferred pronouns.

By the way, did you know Biden is on vacation in Delaware through the weekend? There is no one manning the executive branch during this crisis.
It's not complex. If Biden's decisions, strategy, and tactics were solid:
- Biden would not have gone radio-slient for days as this crisis developed.
- Biden would not have refused to speak with our allies
- We would have LESS troops in Afghanistan today than we did at the start of July.

Per The Guardian

quote:

The latest security alert from the US Embassy in Kabul to the remaining American citizens in Afghanistan is ... rather bleak.

In its message, the embassy reiterated, “The U.S. government cannot ensure safe passage to the airport.”

There have been numerous reports of violence at Taliban checkpoints near the Kabul airport, blocking some people from accessing the departing planes.

The embassy added in its message, “We are processing people at multiple gates. Due to large crowds and security concerns, gates may open or close without notice. Please use your best judgment and attempt to enter the airport at any gate that is open.

“Be aware of the potential for violence and security threats associated with large crowds.”

I'm pretty sure someone in the Admin is thinking Mogadishu all over again. If the US troops go into the city.

The ONLY thing that made that op go sideways was doing it half-assed in the daylight.

We have enough men in Kabul right now to get our people out. Out administration doesn't have the chest. Would the Taliban love to wait us out and hope some Americans are left behind for propaganda purposes? Absolutely. Are they willing to fight to make that happen? I don't think so. If we are smart about it we can run ops, tell the Taliban to stay out of our way and be out of there in 10-15 days.

We have the men on the ground, air assets on the ground and near enough by, and the wherewithal to do it. We just don't have the leadership.

It reminds me of when my 4 year old niece broke the dishwasher, ran in her room, and hid under her bed fully expecting it all to blow over if she just ignored it long enough.

The folks who are spending lots of their time following this story should take this consideration to heart - this story will probably be forgotten by Nov 22. If anything, US propaganda will restore Tough Guy Joe's image and the US electorate will be left with a positive opinion of how Tough Guy Joe made the best of a bad situation.

That's my 2 cents.

They are just going to talk about how great it is that we got all of our soldiers out. Then shutdown any talk about all the things that went wrong.

Look, the one thing I promise you in private, NATO allies are not quiet. You remember from your old days. They’re not gonna be quiet. And so– and by the way, you know, what we’re gonna be doing is we’re gonna be putting together a group of the G-7, the folks that we work with the most– to– I was on the phone with– with Angela Merkel today. I was on the phone with the British prime minister. I’m gonna be talking to Macron in France to make sure we have a coherent view of how we’re gonna deal from this point on.

He’s mentally incompetent and deranged, once this unabridged text hits he should be torn apart, but other than Fox, will they do it? There’s a video of both houses of parliament in uproar over the fact that we left in the middle of the night w/o telling our allies. FCS, it was even on Twitter. Whenever he compares something to anything it’s a gigantic red flag and that comparison invariably occurs. “I know everything and let me tell the American people we won’t be rescuing people off of buildings like Saigon it’s not even comparable to Vietnam” I’ve said it multiple times in this thread who is truly running the United States at the moment? It’s obviously not this clown & his administration nor the military brass, they had the intel weeks in advance and still let this occur. Also, failed to mention that it’s front page in the UK that Boris Johnson was urgently trying to reach Biden last Sunday & the Turnip did not circle back to him until over 48 hours later on Tuesday evening and that was the only phone call that any of our NATO allies received.

Yeah, MSNBC’s coverage of this has been fricking awful. Shockingly CNN has been doing the best coverage.

Here’s the thing, they’re saying they can spin this into a positive. I don’t see how you possibly can do that. Maybe make the idiot progressives forget, but I don’t see how you can possibly say leaving thousands of Americans behind enemy lines was the right thing to do.

Democrats are roughly 30% of the voting population. 75% of those would support anything Biden did.

The propaganda effort to imbue the notion in the American psyche that he was released under Trump is now underway and has a very good chance of success, IMHO.

Do we know who the leader of the Tablian/IEA is at the moment?
