For those who are keeping up, the Brits, the French, and the Germans are now going into Kabul to extract their citizens. The US is making our citizens figure out how to get past the Taliban to make it to the airport. WTF?!?

This business of leaving thousands of Americans behind is so far beyond anything I could have imagined our country would do. It’s hard to even wrap my head around that reality. Once the stories of those Americans who are trapped (and may well be captured and killed) by the enemy emerge—only then will the full horror of this decision come out. I mean, we aren’t even TRYING to save them.
