Well, if the State Department and White House weren't lying about everything that we can see with our eyes and hear with our ears, I'd be more inclined to agree.
The only people in the world really downplaying things are the State Dept. and the White House.

State Dept apparently just released a statement that these evacuations are going to be free after all which goes against SOP. I haven't seen it tho

Thankfully she was in Kabul where there are plenty of media and cameras.
If that was Jalalabad or another town/city, I don't know if she'd been in as good of shape.

I don't think the US Military is controlled by Taliban.
I do think that the US Military is covering for the Biden Administration.

It always seems to be Smacking Ned who says we don’t have the resources to do this. I think it’s pretty clear by everyone else’s non-response that they aren’t allowed to do this.
