What's happening right now is 100% on Biden's administration.

New channels said they "might" have a press conference in a few days

We have video recording on cell phone devices which you can then transmit via messaging or upload directly yourself from that exact phone. No need to have some elaborate production. I guess it's hard to save face while video a message from your iphone as president of the U.S.

Withdrawal was the right call, and Biden should be credited with that.

He gets credit for following through with something Trump already put in motion? the talking point out there is that Trump set dates to be out and Biden just had no choice in the matter but to follow through.

Democrats are furiously trying to de-pin this from Biden.

I imagine the media will cover this up very well over the next few weeks, IF Biden is still in office.

They may cut ties to salvage mid terms.

This is the end of the longest war in American history and the rapid fall of an entire country to an enemy we've been fighting for 20 years and the administration has decided to go on vacation. This is an absolute disgrace.

So your telling me the fact that there isn’t a single contingency plan in place doesn’t fall on the Biden admin? If military aircraft has PAX Qatar is turning them away, won’t even let them land. Those folks are being routed to Kuwait. Tell me that you honestly believe any of the previous administrations you listed would have botched it this bad. I don’t think so. This administration is a joke and this just proves how incompetent they are.

I’m pretty sure you would have done a better job at planning this by yourself than the entire Biden admin did.

8 months seems plenty enough time to prioritize an incident free withdrawl

That's one thing I'll credit Obama for. He made the plan to get out of Iraq and followed through with it. One of the few things he did right while in office. You can argue the manner in which he left, but it was the right call. However destabilizing the adjacent region at the same time was a massive blunder.

I agree that the way the withdrawal was handled is on Biden. I meant the overall mess that is Afghanistan is on every president since GWB. Believing we could install a democratic government there, and then leave, was a pipe dream.

None of this was going to be incident free, but not getting your embassy personnel out first is completely ridiculous

100% but read the past few pages of posts. Everyone knew this was a futile effort from the start. Why not cut losses early? Every president since Bush had the opportunity to do so.

It's almost as if we are electing a bunch of empty suits who talk themselves in circles but are wholly inept to take appropriate action and steps to provide for any productive conclusion.

Every major problem in the U.S. will be left unresolved. None of these jerkoffs have any idea or plan as to resolving Heroin crisis, homelessness, COVID, economy, etc... Hell let's talk about border control for a second. How might we stop Taliban reprisal when there is no form of control over the Mexican Border?

News outlets are reporting that U.S. soldiers have shot and killed two armed men attempting to breach the perimeter around the Kabul airport.

He and Kamala have to resign for this. While this isn’t going to happen, Kamala should appoint DeSantis as VP and then step down herself.

Not to carry even a drop of water for the incompetent CiC but was this vacay a long planned one that nobody ever heard of or did something happen to the decrepit old fool in the past few days?
