I even tried to condense the quotes and ran out. Here is the rest.
Proverbs is new age guru?
You have still not told me the commandment that is impossible for men to keep. What is it that the father has given us to do that is not possible?
What better way to get people to sin and not care about the commandments than to teach them they don't have to.
quote:
How New Age guru of you. But even your statement still makes salvation rest on yourself and your works in "fixing your sins." That is Biblical nonsense. Jesus did not say fix your sins to become worthy of eternal life. The Lord said “Whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16), and “Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life” (John 5:24).
Sanctification and growth matter but they are the fruit of salvation and not the case of salvation. You have the horse way ahead of the cart and you have zero Biblical basis for such a statement that flies in the face of the words of Jesus. Christianity is not about "fixing yourself." Such is impossible in light of the holy standard of perfection required by a holy and wholly perfect God. Christianity is about being reconciled to God through Christ by faith and being transformed by Him. You have spewed nothing but outdated heresy that has been debunked for a long long time.

quote:
You are still making forgiveness something we earn by our works (correcting ourselves you call it.) This is not Biblical and it is not the Gospel. Jesus never taught this at all. Jesus did say "“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). The way isn't some system or 12 step program to correct yourself, the way is Christ Himself.
Jesus taught forgiveness is something that God by His grace grants to those who repent and come to Him. Luke 18 we see the ole tax collector didn't first "correct his sins" then get forgiveness. The tax guy cried out “God, be merciful to me, a sinner!” and this is why Jesus said the man “went down to his house justified” (Luke 18:13–14). If our forgiveness depended on "fixing yourself" then we are without hope and without salvation because no one can or will reach sinless perfection on their own. Ever. You have zero Biblical support for your anti-Gospel ideology.
Once again works is not the point. You are using works as if it means a point system. As in you can do X amount of good deals and it makes up for some other bad deed. No, that's not the point at all.
Again, you walk the path and sure you'll probably have good works along the way naturally. But they don't have points to them. If you still break a commandment, then you have failed to walk the path and the good works don't matter.
And as for John 14, you quote one single verse and ignored the rest and the context.
To repent means to feel deep regret for a past wrong and make a deliberate choice to change your direction and behavior.
What you likely ask for is a blind eye. To just say "I sinned" and then you don't make the changes and so forth. Which you say is fine. I say no, it's not you haven't repented, you've asked for a blind eye and free pardon.
And Jesus will say - he knows you not.
And I wouldn't exactly say I fixed myself. Everything I know and understand is because of God.
quote:
You have a major problem and a fatal flaw in your argument here. You are attributing the sacrifice nature of Jesus's death to Paul, but Jesus Himself taught it. The Lord said “The Son of Man came…to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45), and when He instituted the Lord's Supper, Jesus said, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:28). So for you to say this sacrificial ideal is only original with Paul is nonsense and of course false.
And now you start cherry picking verses out of context. It's also in Mark 10 where he is telling people to keep the commandments and the rich man.
Again, will you tell the rich man the same as Jesus? Why didn't Jesus tell the rich man that he was the gift and that his death would be that which saved him? Especially since as you point out he says he is about to be killed.
The true sacrifice of Jesus is that he did not have to do what he did. He went to the people, told them to keep the commandments, told them how. Went against the religious and political leaders of the time, knowing the consequences of that is they would have them killed. He could have kept his mouth shut, lived out a quiet life and had none of it. That was his sacrifice, that is the ransom being paid. In the hopes that those who with ears would hear him. And from that, you worship his death, rather than the life and actual real teachings and I find that terrible.
quote:
Jesus never said “Understand better and fix yourself.” He said, “Whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16), and “Whoever believes has eternal life” (John 6:47). Your thoughts here are a lot of things, but Biblically correct is no one of those things. I will pray for you. I do hope you discover salvation that is only through faith in Christ. You are trying to strain out a gnat while swallowing a camel. (Matthew 23:24) You are certainly on the road of the Judaizers, the first generation church rebuked them then and it still holds now.
Keeping the commandments is fixing yourself. It's repenting and atoning your mistakes.
You still haven't told me which commandment is impossible for a man to keep.

Your God is Satan.
You believe in a false god and your gnostic beliefs were condemned by the apostles, themselves.

The rich young ruler couldn’t even keep the first commandment because he made an idol out of his wealth and possessions.
Jesus showed that the commandments are not merely external. He said if you have lust in your heart towards a woman or hated in your heart, you have broken the commandments.
If you sin even once, you deserve death from a holy God.
The fact that you think sinners can make up for their sins by just trying to do better means you do not know who God is.

Wrong.

So keeping the commandments = Satan
Telling people they don't need to keep the commandments, but to believe the truth, the way and light was sacrificed for you = God.
Wrong again.
You are literally telling me you are saved by the death of truth. Because you are the lie and the only way the lie can live is if the truth is sacrificed. It's the entire reason Jesus was murdered to begin with, to protect the lie.

quote:Satan wants people to think they can keep the commandments to save themselves. That's legalism, and it's satanic, because it leads to destruction. Satan loves people to think they are moral and try to save themselves through good works, because it leads to their eternal death.
So keeping the commandments = Satan
quote:You keep confusing what the Bible actually teaches.
Telling people they don't need to keep the commandments, but to believe the truth, the way and light was sacrificed for you = God.
Wrong again.
The Bible teaches that we need to keep the commandments, but not to earn salvation or favor from God, but because it's what God wants from us, and it's what we were created to do.
You keep wanting to twist what the Bible teaches because you can't stand that it contradicts you. You like being able to selectively quote the Bible to make it seem like it teaches the lies you believe, but it doesn't. It teaches that we must believe in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, and we must keep the commandments as an evidence that we love God and are saved by Him.
quote:No, we are saved by receiving forgiveness from sins by trusting in the free gift that God gave by sending His Son to die to ransom sinners who cannot obey the law perfectly.
You are literally telling me you are saved by the death of truth.
Jesus gives life to whoever believes in Him. Your false religion doesn't even need Jesus to exist as a historical person, because He's nothing but an example of obedience to you. You reject Him as the Son of God and Messiah, so you will be damned if you do not repent.
quote:You keep saying that nonsense, but I cannot be "the lie", because a lie is a falsehood, and I'm a person, not a statement.
Because you are the lie and the only way the lie can live is if the truth is sacrificed. It's the entire reason Jesus was murdered to begin with, to protect the lie.
I can believe a lie. I can tell a lie. But I cannot be "the lie".
This is another example of how your "religion" is nonsensical and should be rejected.
And no, Jesus was killed to protect a lie. He was killed because He was believed to be blaspheming by claiming to be God, and the Pharisees did not want people to follow Him. At least, that was the human reason. The divine purpose was so that Jesus would bear our sins on the cross.

I have said over and over it's not about "good works" and why.
But you continue to pretend like I haven't.
You aren't even debating me, you're debating your own version of me. You're basically lying about me to my face. frick off with this shite.

I disagree with your lesbian Calvinist priestess. Although I can’t be absolutely positive (nothing in ancient history can be), beyond a reasonable doubt the Jesus of the gospels never existed and the Jesus of Paul, Peter, James, Jude, and Clement was a preexisting (imaginary) celestial deity.

Just replace "good works" with "obey the commandments", then. It doesn't matter, because it means the same thing. You believe in legalism unto salvation.
Yes, I'm debating you, but you aren't putting up much of a fight. You just keep saying the same few things over and over again without answering clarifying questions or explaining what you mean and why. You aren't debating at all, actually. You are preaching, all while saying we shouldn't even listen to you, because you're just a man. You're a living, breathing contradiction, and your belief system makes you that way. It's irrational, and you need to turn to Christ by faith and embrace Him for true wisdom and understanding.

No, it's not the same thing as I already explained. Good works can merely be a product/fruit of keeping the commandments.
It's not a points system, and it's not about just doing them. As I have repeatedly said.
You're just dishonest.

You don't debate me at all. You bear false witness about me, and then you debate that.
For example I have told you over and over I am not your savior, your prophet, your teacher or anything. And yet you repeatedly claim I say "You should listen to me". For you to "just listen to me" would be the opposite of actually listening to what I've said. It's not about who you accept, it's about what you understand.
And I'm rather sick of having to fix your lies over and over, even after you've been corrected multiple times.
If you ever actually addressed what I've said, that would be something. But instead you're just a liar.

God created Satan to deceive people he created? And he created Satan so that they can be deceived about the Creator? Make it make sense.
God wants to trick people into following the 10 Commandments and to falsely believe that such adherence is a worthwhile goal?
