Which is full woke, DEI, and part of the heretic sect of Presbyterian called the PUSA
God didn’t ask Mary for permission when He sent Gabriel to her, he told her what was about to happen, the coming of the Messiah, and she being chosen by God said let it be so.
But even if Talarico was right, and he’s not, where he says Mary gave God permission, then she would not be advocating abortion, but that God would try with someone else. She was not saying “if I get pregnant thru the power of of the Holy Spirit I’m going to kill it”.

All Paxton has to do is not say a word until the election

The pro-choice vegan...

He's a University of Texas grad, as well.

He also uses Galatians 3 to justify transgenderism saying Paul said there is no such thing as man or woman. Purposely missing the point that regardless of who you are, accept Jesus and you will be saved.

He also uses Genesis (the Bible book, not the band) in the most ridiculous way to justify abortion up to and including partial-birth because he claims life doesn't begin until the first breath is taken based on God's breathing life into Adam.

And this is why a few of us remain...to preach the Good News of the Gospel and not some secularized mumbo jumbo from the lecterns of academia

Dude is demon possessed
In that passage. Gabriel tells her what is going to happen, sure but it does not say she is already pregnant. Plus I am pretty sure Hod already knew the answer. The salvation of humanity depended on it.
Somehow he is worse than Joel Olsteen.

It takes discernment and as Jesus said in John 14, 15, and 16 the Holy Spirit will illuminate scripture to those who were His. Paul, like Jesus, used the natural or spiritual examples. He meant in Christ Jesus, we are His equally spiritually. There were still Jews and Greeks and slaves and free walking around in the natural.

Dems could not have teed this up any better for Paxton. All Paxton has to say is, "Please, the only thing I have to say about They/Them Talarico is 'just listen to him'. He's ashamed of being born to white parents. He'll tell you. He's advocating for men in women's sports and in women's locker rooms, health clubs and public bathrooms. He'll tell you. He's for abortion care for trans women. He'll tell you. He's for sanctuary cities and states to house illegals and prevent immigration enforcement actions. He'll tell you. He calls God our Father a nonbinary being. He'll tell you.
No, I really don't think I need to talk about my opponent. Why spend time bashing my opponent when my opponent is spending his time saying everything for me?
Instead, I want to talk about our national goals, our economy, home ownership initiatives, building up our trade and defense alliances in the westernized world, especially for our hemisphere, and discuss ideas on how we attack the massive influx of fentanyl and other drugs pouring in from Mexico. Not how to protect the rights for some guy in a dress, garter belts, high heels and lipstick to give him permission to do a striptease in front of children or read books to them that sensationalize deviant behaviors. If you want that, vote for They/Them Talarico. But if you want to discuss relations with Russia or China or developing a package to bring in high tech manufacturing, improving our infrastructure and implementing deterrents to prevent wars, or how I'd vote for the Save America Act to prevent voter fraud, then let's have it. But save all the LGBTQ questions for Talarico. He understands that issue from a personal perspective that, frankly, I don't have and never will."

Talarico earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from TEXAS. I wonder what type of indoctrination he got there with those profs. This POS below, John Brennan, also graduated from Texas with a degree in government. A devout communist served in the CIA under Barry obama. Hopefully he will spend many years in prison.

Most Christians know next to nothing about the Bible and certainly don’t apply it to their life

Gator you are going hard in the theological paint today. Much respect. I'd enjoy a discussion, particularly about your vision of God.
But the comment you made about the seminary is wrong.
I preceded Talarico at this seminary. A great experience. When were you last on campus?

Sorry if I bothered you, truly. My parents were members at a PUSA church in north Austin (off of 183) , I think it was Hope Presbyterian, since about 1975. Both of them have passed since 2015. That church is a lot different today than it was in the70’s & 80’s . My mom didn’t know much about Christianity although she was there all that time. She also believed that her Jewish friend would also spend eternity with God because she was Jewish, so, not much discipleship. Because she lived with us her last 2 years, because of dementia , I still get some of her mail. One of the items is the magazine from Austin Presbyterian theological seminary. Sorry, but I can’t read the thing without shaking my head and feeling sorrowful for those that attend. I’ve called and written them to ask to stop sending it but they don’t stop. So, as a PCA member my theology is much different. I don’t want to be disrespectful, but it’s the truth as to what I see. If I’m wrong, help me and let me know.
The guy got the MDIV from there, but look and listen to what comes out of his mouth. It hardly lines up with scripture, ever.

This guy is at best an apostate and at worst a non-Christian posing as a Christian. Really he is just a radical leftist mouthpiece wrapping his propaganda in a very thin veneer of Christian theology. Paul would definitely write this guy a letter to correct him.
