I really hate this for Taiwan. In a previous job, I worked with a few companies there importing products and visited a few times. The people I worked with and met were:
1) Very hardworking
2) Very pro-capitalism and free market
3) Very much identified with Americans more than the Chinese despite speaking their language
I visited several monuments and museums all about their history. They 100% consider themselves a free nation and want nothing to do with China. Really shitty.

I believe the more likely it becomes that Trump will win the Presidency again the less likely it becomes that China pulls the trigger on an all out invasion of Taiwan. JMO

Taiwan doesn’t want to do that because they still have family members over there. As much as you dislike California, if we blew up the Hoover Dam and it killed 10 million people, you would still be completely appalled by that.
