Of course not! "If it don't fit, you must acquit."

OJ is still searching for the true killer, as we speak.

Probably. But the prosecution did a horrible job of trying the case.

A part of the story which is not talked about very much is that Nicole had started dating Marcus Allen and was telling their friends that he had a bigger dick than OJ. Prior to that OJ and Marcus were best friends. O J felt betrayed and humiliated by them.

This is what really set OJ off and its why he was lurking in the bushes. He wanted to catch them in the act in order to use it against her in their child custody case.

When Ron Goldman came by to return her glasses. Goldman saw him , confronted him and they started to fight. Nicole heard the commotion outside came outside to check on the noise and he had to kill them both to GTFO.

Jurors have said that they knew he was guilty but voted to acquit anyway because of Rodney King. So justice didn't matter. They just wanted the political score.

It seems this is always the case, if Rittenhouse is any indication. They don't care about the truth. They just want the "win."

Yes and they made sure to get him a majority black jury. Which I have no issue with other than the reason they did that. Because black people would be more likely to say not guilty regardless of if they actually thought he was guilty or not.

They did this so he’d have more black jurors.

This isn’t a secret. If he had been tried where the crime actually happened, he’d prob be guilty.

At the same time of the OJ Trial, Christopher Reeves( Superman) broke his neck and became paralyzed from the neck down.

There was a joke I remember about both before the trial started.

What's the difference between OJ and Christopher Reeves?

OJ is gonna walk

And I want to juxtapose the Rittenhouse case, where the defendant was clearly innocent - as clear cut a case of self-defense as there has ever been, documented by video and an assailant's own sworn testimony.

Whereas the clearly guilty OJ was acquitted by the briefest of deliberations by a racially charged jury, the victims were white, the murderer was black and there was a majority black jury, the Rittenhouse jury took a week to acquit.

By way of full disclosure, I would have been a "leaning acquittal" juror in the OJ case because of questions about the police actions (there is at least a 50/50 chance that the LAPD attempted to frame a guilty man). But there is little question that O.J. was involved. Even without the glove, there was a literal trail of blood from the murder scene to O.J.'s bedroom. The other circumstantial evidence is powerful, too. The cut on O.J.'s hand, the Bruno Maglis, etc. But, that doesn't mean I ignore the problems with the prosecution's case and police conduct/security of the crime scene and chain of custody of key evidence. "Beyond a reasonable doubt" doesn't mean "beyond all doubt", but reasonable doubt would have been adequate grounds for acquittal - not the "payback for Rodney King" which was unquestionably the reasoning of more than 1 juror.

The contrast in the way these cases are viewed by the media and the "black community" (whatever that means) is extremely alarming.

True

The evidence of guilt was overwhelming.

Jurors have admitted they acquitted him as payback for Rodney King.

I think that's exactly what it was, classic case of jury nullification, but the prosecution also screwed themselves with the whole glove thing.
