Per Reuters, the Syrian Army Command has notified its officers that the Assad rule has ended

Did you not see where I called them ISIS Lite later in the post? They are claiming to not want to be America’s enemy but I don’t believe them. However, until they actually make a move against us, I like the approach of sitting back and watching Turkey try to control this can of worms.

I remember seeing a video similar to that and what came after was years of a shite show which left thousands of Americans dead and wounded. After the last 23 years all I can see is another conflict that America is drug into, simply because America is the big dog on the block.

Best not to start shite if you can’t defend your strategic perimeter elsewhere. Russia learning this the hard way with Ukraine (where they FA) and Syria (and are FO).
It was pretty much inevitable that strategic pressure was going to be applied to them somewhere once they got bogged down in Ukraine. Just a matter of when and where.
They can’t project force past the Black Sea at this point absent a few shithead contractors in Africa. They made their choice in Syria the minute they decided to cross into Ukrainian borders.
