Your boy Alvin Bragg has opened an investigation. I’m sure the investigation will get dropped, but it was an important part of the takedown.

Booooooo wanted him to man up and stick it out.
Is it to late to take him off the ballot though? Cause it would be funny to see how many votes he gets. I would think his votes sprinkles down to many others so maybe it won't help them against the 2 Repubs at the top. Not sure how many people who like him like the crazy broad that helped take him out.

Dems take down another one. This time one of their own.
Let them fight.
Let them fight.

If this doesn't happen, and I'll be surprised if it does, then the Dems just wanted to get him out of the the gubernatorial race to clear a path for another Democrat
What am I missing? How it that going to fly?

Supposedly the date to drop off the ballot was in late-March. He's going to be on the ballot and we'll see how many people blindly vote for his name.
And he wasn't running for reelection for his Congressional seat. So I think he's out of Congress on Jan 3, 2027 (if he's not expelled before then).

While Swalwell has suspended his campaign, his name cannot be removed from the ballot.

I hadn't seen the video, so I found it on X, incase anyone else missed it. So cringe.
If it says not found, click the link anyway. It's there.

Sucks he will get a pension since he has served more that 5 years.
He should he stripped for the fang fang stuff but the GOP has no balls.

Say what you want about their ideology, and they do support some awful stuff, but they are single minded and get stuff done. What did this take? 3-4 days??

What you're missing is that Swallwell became a huge liability in the Governor's race, so Dems obviously wanted him out Not only to clear a path for another Democrat, but also to avoid all the negative publicity leading up to the midterms if Swallwell would've remained in the race.
But, surely no one here believes that the Dems did this out of some sense of moral outrage? Hell, they even had Adam Schiff denounce Swallwell. Do you not have any idea how much of a degenerate scumbag Schiff is? Research the name "Ed Buck," a prominent Dem donor who is now in prison. Schiff hung out with that guy, who would routinely drug young black guys when he would hold "parties" at his home.
The only difference between Swallwell and Schiff is the gender that they go after.
