For those keeping track, this promising young fellow was out on a $100 bond from a January weapon charge at the time that he paralyzed this woman. In between the time he paralyzed this woman and his eventual arrest, he also stole another woman’s purse and pointed a gun at her.

January - unlawful carrying of a weapon arrest, released on $100 bond

February 13 - aggravated robbery (while on bond)

February 25 - assault with a deadly weapon (while on bond)

And the genius judge decides to cut his $200k bond to $100k because “his family can’t pay it.” Well they were able to pay that $100 bond in January and look how that turned out! He’s stolen at least $4k since then so maybe use some of his “income” to pay his bond.
